People I talk with regularly are respectful and alright to talk to, we can keep adult conversations but people I distance myself or talk rarely tend to ridicule me especially in front of others. Why is that?

one example
>talk with one girl, we help each other
>when she's with her friends she suddenly throws a text like "I can't help you but I can kick your ass"
I just don't understand it
