I don't have the time or money to do anything train related. What am I suppose to do when the rare slot of free time comes around?

Time is your choice. You can always drop something to do train stuff. Stop making excuses. As for money, >>34434015 is one thing. You can also watch train videos online. You can also get a better job that makes more $$$ per hour which may require other things first. You could even try to get a job working around or on trains.
