I'm far from conventionally attractive. in fact I think most people would agree I'm ugly/below average. I have a crush on a guy at work that is also considered "ugly" but I don't care about that because I see his inner beauty and we get along well. I've been rejected by men before since I'm an ugly, but since this is a mostly male board, I'm wondering if it's possible to ever not be seen as an ugly beast by a man? Should I just let the crush go? I am in a weak emotional state so I think if I tried something and it had bad results (it's never just a simple no) it would crush me.

Beauty is subjective, and most men do not feel that way but reality does not care about it, reality is that it's subjective and we know this because attraction is based on familiarity. If your face or body feels familiar to a man, like he feels he has seen it before somewhere in the back of his mind, so far back in his mind that he is unaware, he will be attracted to you. That's why some men like big noses, some like small, some like large bulging eyes, some prefer narrowed almond eyes, some guys prefer broad jaw women, others prefer the rounded smaller jaw, some prefer a short face others prefer a long face, some like small foreheads and some guys go crazy for large foreheads. Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder and our forebearers were not just saying that our if poetic pageantry, they were describing it as a rule of law.

And some may post a picture of a deformity to disprove the rule. Those people prove it every time they do that, because facial deformities a rare. They're unfamiliar. This exception proves the law of familiarity being the driving force of attraction. What people find "ugly" are faces that do not feel familiar to them in their features. If the world had 4billion facially deformed people, if a sizable population developed elephant man syndrome, you can bet anything that it would eventually become familiar, and would be considered to be attractive.

And also, people who feel ugly will appear ugly to others. People who feel attractive will be attractive to others. This is because if you have low self esteem and have face or body dysmorphia, your mood gets affected negatively. Your passive face expression being sullen or irritable. And people stay away, they find it harder to perceive beauty in a face that carries sadness. But if you develop self esteem and confidence, it appears on your facial features and gestures, and people subconsciously pick up on it and perceive you as prettier.

I think you should go for it and ask him out.

All of this to say, yes we can see inner beauty. And some of us can see the the uncountable depths and variations of beauty that can be found in a woman's face, any woman's face at all. But that's a matter of awareness and intelligence on the part of the individual. If a man is as dumb as pig shit, he will only seek symmetry. Because symmetry is easier for his brain to process, which is a sign of retardation. That's why the dumbest men you've ever known jack off to Instagram sluts day in and day out. Because the filters on the photos use AI to artificially boost symmetry. Anyway just go ask the guy out for a drink or something.

I doubt you're as ugly as you think you are, but even so, treating a man kindly, supporting him, and making it clear that you enjoy spending time with him is often enough to win him over.
>>

I've been attracted to conventionally-unattractive women before. I think men's tastes are probably more varied than most women think. You can't spend your entire life alone. Ask him out and see what happens.

No man will ever love you fucking ugly bitch.

is your jaw and chin are round or its sharp with a clear triangle?
I know a lot of guys unconsiously relate a rounder jaw and chin area to ugly.

>I know a lot of guys unconsiously relate a rounder jaw and chin area to ugly.
Not OP but I can tell you are a female because you got no clue how guys think lol. No, rounded features are considered to be more 'feminine' to us men. So a rounder jaw and chin is considered to be feminine/pretty/youthful. Broader features like a broader chin or jaw is still in the ballpark of feminine but considered "womanly" more like an adult or matured type of feminine beauty, some may say more masculine, but faces are faces, the only thing that can ever be masculine or feminine are genitalia. A guy has a dick and a girl has a pussy and that's it.
But I bet you are a femanon because it really does show how women don't understand how we perceived them if you think that we find round features to be ugly lmao. Men are obsessed with anything curved. You didn't know? You think it's a coincidence that the boobs and butt and hips and thighs we obsess over all share the same feature? Curvy curve curve curve.

I mean for God's sake woman there's men who masturbate to smoke alarms aka "ceiling tits" because it's a circle. A curve.

The short answer is yes, but I don't know about the guy at your work, or if you truly possess inner beauty as you say.

A guy who has inner beauty can see and appreciate the inner beauty of others. However inner beauty shows up in the expression of virtue such as prudence, temperance, purity, chastity, etc. You don't have inner beauty if you show up as unhygienic, fat, and selfish. On the other hand, if you give men the feeling that you'd be a good homemaker or a nun, then eventually the right man will come along and want to marry you.

In the meantime, I recommend spending time among good people so that you are more likely to be found by the right man, and cultivate your inner beauty by growing in virtue.

If you're not physically fit, there's no point in worrying about your face. Humans have a lot of tolerance for odd faces, and can even like them. But if you're overweight or super physically deconditioned it is universally less attractive in almost all cases. Get yourself in shape, feel way better living life with your improved health and fitness, and you'll be way more attractive. Unless you have some major facial deformity, if you're in good physical fitness the worst you can be is like a 3 or 4, desu these days that might even be a 4 or 5 given how many people are overweight

You don't see men going around on dates with smoke alarms. Yeah, he may fuck her, man have much lower standards when it comes to casual sex, because we're made to spread our seed, but not when it comes to relationship. Your kind of thinking is what turns women into used up holes.

I'm in shape, I don't think it matters much though. I work with a fat woman and she has men obsessed with her

I'd say to test the waters. Get close to the guy, talk, get to know him, analyze his reaction, behavior, opinions, mood, and see if it gives you the vibes that he'd be down for a relationship.

Also, I know it is a difficult thing to do when you're in love, but I recommend that you try to analyze it rationally. i.e., don't take a standard act of politeness as a sign that he is reciprocating your signs, necessarily (that goes to men reading this as well... it is pretty common for dudes to think that a woman is hitting on him just because she was polite or friendly). It's abstract, but you gotta feel the vibes!

NTA but posting the image of someone with a severe unappealing deformity does not disprove it, since the argument he made was that one tends to appreciate things that are familiar to them. A severe deformity is unfamiliar (uncanny) to most people.

Also, I do agree with him that beauty IS more or less subjective. There are people who like morbidly obese people, others that like anorexic ones, etc.
That being said, what is conventionally beautiful tends to be beautiful to the vast, vast maojority of people.

If you're not fat or literally disfigured ("face got run over by a bus" disfigured, not "I have a slightly crooked nose"), then it is highly unlikely that all or even most men will see you as ugly.
>>
Yes like anyone else.
>>
>>34435422
first, stop being fat. this is for your benefit. theres nothing good about being fat, you will die early. second, there are a lot of ugly women but they hide it with makeup. this is how most women looksmax. third, learn to love yourself. unironically, being a fun person to be around will make you more attractive than someone who just sits in her room gooning to korean men all day

I'm not fat and I've never been fat, I'm ugly which is entirely different. Why do you guys keep posting this? Most people around where I live are fat and it seems to have 0 negative impact on their romantic life anyway.
>>
>>34435854
> Why do you guys keep posting this?
Because the only reasonably common way a young woman will naturally look ugly (as opposed to her deliberately doing things like shaving her head, covering herself with tattoos/piercings, etc.) to most men is if she is grossly overweight.

You're welcome. I think he'll say yes, but don't beat yourself up if he doesn't.

>The beauty standard 25 years ago was stick figure
No it wasn't. It was the commercial standard but never the standard of the public. The reason why stick-figure/size zero was pushed was not due to patriarchy (which doesn't exist) and it wasn't due to some conspiracy to spite women. It had to do with money. Size zero models were preferred for clothing branding and companies because if the woman is smaller it means less fabric and materials were necessary to make their overpriced clothing. Which means less money spent for manufacturing (which at that time was not automated as it is today), and more profit margins. That's why it was pushed everywhere, it was a psychological marketing campaign for money. Reality is and has always been that most women are not size zero.

Less women, coincidentally were overweight or obese back then, before size zero marketting. What size zero obsession did, is it contributed to the overweight epidemic in an ironic twist. Because it applied artificial peer pressure to women to become size zero. And if they could not, they'd go into depression or self conscious melancholy and look for comfort. In food. And they bloated up lol. No one actually enjoys stick figure. People enjoy slender or fit or some type of visual indicator of health, but stick figure? Nah.

It's not because I'm talking from a point of good faith. I have good faith the man won't be a nigger who pumps and dumps and leaves behind bastards.

There is one woman I know of who is not physically attractive to me. If I had a picture of her to post she would probably get called a slam pig. But having heard what comes out of her mouth and the way she deals with people she is a smart decent woman. She ended up marrying a guy who got it wrong the first time and that seems to be going well.

Inner beauty is a myth, you can be kind and pleasant but you will always be dysgenic trash and shouldn't breed. Normies will not mind of course because they are natural born liars, as you can see by the replies in this thread. They will encourage you to breed and bring in more and spread dysgenics because your ugly spawn is not their problem.
