it's best to avoid getting water on electronics, especially when they're running
unplugged headphones shouldn't be a problem but i would avoid using them till they're dry
water can get in through seams in the plastic case of each earbud

use distilled water if you must use water on electronics, but it's usually better to use alcohol or something else

The red circled area in picrel. It’s fabric-ish. Maybe I should’ve clarified that it’s a headset, but I have always just referred to these as headphones.
They were unplugged when I wiped them. I didn’t go near the jak with the water.
