rarely
more a fan of light sativas than couch-velcro indicas.
I also drink catnip tea with a little mugwort - helps me sleep, but the dreams get a little vivid sometimes - not unpleasant, just occasionally hard to separate from reality.

I only smoke classic strains bred from landrace genetics. hazes, skunks, old cannabis cup winners and etc. The variety i prefer energizes you, makes you more attentive and creative—its whats known as aryanweed. That cookies, jungleboys, gelato sherbert biscotti nerds unicorn anus bullshit is made from inbreeding a bunch of shitty strains and the result is niggerweed. Makes you just want to sit and do nothing and act like a niggerfaggot of the highest order(no pun intended)

Sativa and indica used to mean something but after all the inbreeding everything more or less hits like indica but without the magic.. So now its just a marketing gimmick. Ive had my fair share of niggerweed before i knew better, so i know what im talking about. I hit some "sativa" niggerweed and im ready to sleep, i hit some "indica" niggerweed and again im ready to sleep. Only strains bred with landrace genetics are able to create that difference between indica and sativa.
Theres a caveat with aryanweed, the indicas relax me but dont make me just wanna sleep away, and sometimes to my surprise–they even energize me, but like you i prefer sativa or sativa dominant hybrids too

we still have White Widow, Rhino, Jean Guy, and a whack of pure or nearly pure kushes here... which surprises me, because there was such a rush over the latest cheesy diesel dessert 20+%, can't breathe let alone think, "The government doesn't want you to have this!" weed that we were opening pot shops instead of Spirit Halloween's.
The only exception that I will, rarely, make, is baking or making chocolates. A few west coast companies have been breeding down the sourness, diesel, and cheese, and bringing fruit flavours forward... Decarb some of that, grind it super fine, set it in a ganache with some toasted/dehydrated lime zest, mango, and macadamia nut? You can surprise some folks.
