My whole life I've been having breakfast sandwiches with ketchup, hot sauce, salt+pepper+ketchup, some variation of those.

I randomly picked up a bottle of HP because I'd heard about it and I was curious. Added it to a BEC.

It's... it's really fucking good. It's a tart tangy sweet sauce, hard to describe, there's some kind of fruit flavors going on. It's not at all like A1, ketchup, or bbq sauce. Frankly I think it's good enough that people should "discover" it and breakfast places should offer it as a condiment.

Brown sauce!

Some britbong called ketchup/tomato sauce "red sauce" and I can't stop thinking how retarded they are

First they sent my family on convict ships to the other side of the planet and now this

That's predominantly a norf fc thing.

Red sauce. Brown sauce. Yellow sauce.
Pouring it all over me scran. Simple as.
>>
>>21901817
My only problem with brown sauce is that it's not very versatile. It's good with beef and pork products and.. not much else. I know some people like dipping chips in it but I don't.

It's always tiresome when fresh little cunts like this think that paragraphs are "reddit spacing". It's not what reddit spacing is. They act all smug firing that insult out and they're clueless that they're wrong. Tragic

It is actually quite literally A1.

They are not the same and why do you silly zoomer kiddies keep inserting 'literally' everywhere?

I'm curious about the McD's items that use it but I'll probably never get to travel to the UK.

A1 is the American label for brown sauce. Google it.
>>
>>21902335
I assume you're just posting this to get people to reply to you, thus confirming your existence. Because all you need to do is compare A1 and HP ingredients to see that they're nowhere near the same sauce. And they taste completely different no matter how many times you repeat otherwise.

Those are called paragraphs, and are usually taught to kids around 10-11 years old.

Reddit spacing is when people press return after every sentence.

I am not going to reply to that prat either.

I took the piss out of 'literally' and now they are asking to google it???

They have no clue what they are talking about and it's best we leave them to pretend they know better.

Millie Bobby Brown loves brown sauce

Just a quick skin off Wikipedia shows that they're the same brown sauce with essentially the same ingredients (tomatoes, vinegar, sugar, corn syrup, spices, raisins/dates) made by the same company.

Brown sauce only works with greasy things because it has vinegar. It's got notes of bay leaf which works better with meat.

All of these brown sauces such as HP, A1 and even Worcestershire sauce are just variations of Indian sweet tamarind chutneys. Tamarind is naturally sweet and sour. HP sauce is basically ketchup, tamarind and malt vinegar. Worcestershire sauce is fish sauce, tamarind and malt vinegar. If you want to learn how to make your own brown sauce or BBQ sauce, get some tamarind and experiment with adding tomato, vinegar, sugar, other fruits, etc

Tomatoes are from the new world and brown sauces are an english invention. Worchestershire sauce traces back to various fish sauces and eventually back to garum.
>>
>>21903683
Actually, for Worcestershire sauce, some guy tried to recreate a sauce, failed, left it in a box for a few months, then remembered it exists, tried it. It was good.
>>
It's good for breakfast foods (sausage, bacon, egg, mixed in baked beans, potato scones, French toast). Like other anons said, outside of that it's a bit limited (pork/scotch pies maybe).

You should look at how to actually use paragraphs before having an embarrassing little meltdown like this. Protip: You don't use a paragraph after each sentence

This is so old now, it's relevant.

Moots comments were made well before the influx of Indians/Israelis and American lefties.

The plebbit spacing thing, is a result of 'newfrens' trying to fit in.
