Gross looking beer.
>>
we had these in the 90s, they were discontinued because you could cut your face on them
sorry if you missed the 90s they were pretty sweet
>>
>>21902334
Surely these days we have much more effective modern tools for cutting your face.
>>
>>21902339
there was this coffee-flavored cola called reveille that came in a can shaped like a bottle
you opened by jamming your thumb through the top
if you fucked up, it would skin your thumb
they may not have been as efficient, but they were creative and numerous
if anyone can find a picture of a can of reveille that'd be pretty sweet, too, i did a quick search and got nothin
>>
Oh. Neat. The mid 90s is the future.
>>21902334
This lady gets it, though I never heard of anyone cutting their face or thumbs on these things.
>>
>>21902321
Explain what about this is futuristic
>>
>>21902321
That's just inconvenient to make the packaging look cool.
>>
>>21902362
Banned in my school because at least one kid cut his tongue licking the top.
>>

Ghetto version of mason jar desserts?
>>
>>21902396
Wow banned because retards were doing retarded shit with it. Many such cases.
>>

Canning technology is over 100 years old anon
>>
>>21902321
I see nothing in that video that is unusual, futuristic, or even a new idea.
>>
>>21902418
but the music fucking kicked ass
at least they play it at the grocery store, now
>boppin to steal my sunshine buyin apples
>>
>>21902438
Yea, it's basically a yogurt parfait in a can. Or custard.
>>
>>21902321
>>
>>21902321
How is that an improvement on a jar?

Really? Most cans still have those and were not discontinued. Like dog food and canned tomatoes.
I think you're wrong.

Looks like Aluminum to me, also at least in my country there's a large recycling campaign that's been going on for decades.

Common Law is just inclined to petty lawsuits over everything. "Well you didn't imply to everyone that the sharp edge couldn't be licked withouth cutting your tongue, the cut changed how my client tastes, we are suing for 4 million dollars because forever my client won't taste sweet drinks quite the same way and my client loved going out for cocktails and occasionally a coffee beverage.
>>
>>21903290
it's above average actually
>>
>>21902321
The overwhelming amount of single use plastics in Japanese convenience food drives me nuts. It's got to be 10x worse than anywhere I've ever seen. I watched some dude try this gimmick candy that is a powder turns into this gum-like thing and it had plastic-wrapped plastic products that were already in a plastic container.

For most of the vid, I thought that was the Starbucks logo.
>>
>>21902321
We had pull-tab cans and stopped using them in the 1970s because people would just throw them on the ground and people would cut their feet open on them. You can still find the cans and sometimes the tabs if you poke around in the woods where loggers threw their beer cans 50 years ago. Outdated tech but Japanese people probably don't throw their trash on the ground like animals so it doesn't matter as much
>>
>>21904245
You were supposed to drop your pull tab into the can itself, but mouthbreathers couldn't not swallow them.
>>
>>21904266
That's retarded. Children and drunks are idiots who swallow random stuff accidentally.
>>

weird how jews always get involved with usury and litigation

>cool product is invented
>jew realizes there's a safety risk
>instead of contacting anyone he deliberately gets his bubbie to cut herself so he can sue
>>
>>21904245
>Japanese people probably don't throw their trash on the ground like animals so it doesn't matter as much
they will carry a piece of garbage around all day, lugging it from train to train until they can throw it away at home
i found it astonishing how there was both very few public trash cans and yet no litter
>>
There is not future. Just a very rapid decay into oblivion. Have a nice day.

>when the cheaper already proven tech for normal ass aluminum cans with fancy labels exists

I don't know if trolling or legit stupid.

A smart person would have mentioned the plastic liner cans have to preserve taste.
>>
>>21906212
incorrect
>>
>>21903770
In Japan people are actually civilized, so they recycle plastic like they're supposed to, so there's no trouble from using plastic in products.

Unlike barbaric westerners who cannot be trusted with anything.
>>
>>21908050
its a tiny island they have to cus no space for landfills

Yes, the size of their island probably contributed a lot to their genetic superiority over us barbaric, crass, uncouth, untrustworthy westerners.

>>
>>21905681
They way you say that implies that's not common behaviour for better people. I'm a better person so that's exactly what I do and I always have.
>>21908050
I reuse and recycle plastic. My wife uses a 2ltr bottle as a watering sprayer, for example. I use a 1ltr bottle as my summertime water bottle. I just fill it with filtered then freeze it overnight. Cold, leak proof water all day. We use old yoghurt tubs as food storage.
>>
>>21908774
>We use old yoghurt tubs as food storage
mmm microplastics
>>
>>21902334
>>21902321
Canned food still exists. And the opening of them is still dangerous if you're careful. Really need a new design on this shit.
>>
>>21908532
They would end up in the sand at the beach. Jimmy buffet wrote a song about it.
