Having worked the drive-thru, I don't mind if they use AI. It can make for a better experience for both the customer and the employees. But it won't be. Companies won't resist the temptation to have the AI upsell everything. Employees who get negative attitude from customers over pushing whatever thing a diaper head in corporate sitting in office memos down to the stores will just stop doing it. The AI will nag and harass you as much as they're told to do. Doesn't matter how annoyed you get at it, the upselling must continue.

A few days ago, I went to go get one of those sloppy-ass grilled cheese burritos and the lady said "It's a great day at Taco Bell, what can I get you?" in the most depressed voice possible.
They keep putting wages through progressively more and more humiliation rituals.

This shit really got me thinking.
Chick fil a has the best service, but I find their creepy ass fake overly polite shit off putting. I hate it, but they're definitely the fast food with the best service, second only to 5guys
And the reason is that they're ALWAYS staffed to the brim. There's always way more people working than I've ever seen at a BK/mcdicks/taco bell.
I've never worked fast food, does chikfila pay better or something? Do they just hire more??

One major complaint besides redditors seething about faggotry is the price, as CFA is generally more expensive than similar things elsewhere, but I can trust that the food won't kill me like at some nigger-run KFC or BK or something. CFA doesn't do franchising like many chains, you can only generally have one store to run (some franchise companise run dozens or hundreds in other chains) leading to the person running it truly having a stake in the business. They do pay much better than most places and properly staff; most chains are literally engineered to be understaffed as fuck to make the employees constantly struggle and in addition to the poor wages it all leads to the malaise that plagues practically all restaurants these days. People are desperate and will fight for hours even though they're getting paid $10 an hour and given terrible shifts because one ounce of overtime will result in corporate goons cracking down so you'll generally never see close to 40hrs even if you're "full time," and a random and capricious schedule prevents finding a second job to pick up the slack, and ofc the low hours means they can call you to come in when you're off and not get you near 40. Just generally a terrible work environment with truly sociopathic and/or retarded management, so nobody gives a flying fuck besides the manager chasing the dragon of some shit like a $100 quarterly bonus for fucking their employees every hour of every shift for meeting labor metrics or some shit. This all naturally leads to pic related.

The script shit is creepy, but at least it will be clean and the employees aren't all constantly contemplating sticking their heads in the fryers.
