I FUCKING LOVE CHICKEN LEG QUARTERS
YOU JUST SEAR THEM AND STICK THEM IN THE OVEN WITH A BUNCH OF ONIONS AND MUSHROOMS. THEN MAKE A SAUCE WITH ALL THE JUICES WHEN IT COMES OUT. OR JUST ADD BUFFALO WING SAUCE I DON'T CARE
WHEN YOU'RE DONE WITH THE BONES YOU JUST FREEZE THEM THEN MAKE BROTH ONCE A MONTH.
I
LOVE
CHICKEN
LEG
QUARTERS

I like to shake them in flour and curry powder then roast them. Then I make gravy with the juices, flour, water, salt, pepper and a little soy sauce. If there isn’t enough juice I add some butter. Serve it with cabbage and potatoes.

I love the whole damn bird. Legs, thighs, breasts, wings, feet, gizzards, livers, hearts, I eat every part of the chicken but the cluck. Chicken stock is the most versatile of all stocks, in my opinion, so you can really get a lot of meals out of a single bird.

>cutting or deboning raw poultry (not sure which "two" you're talking about) is easier than cutting cooked poultry or pulling tender cooked meat off the bone
no.
handling raw poultry requires some amount of attention so you don't contaminate half of your kitchen in the process.
it's not difficult, but it's certainly not easier than eating a cooked chicken leg and putting the bones in the freezer afterwards.

>take out chicken
>put on cutting board
>cut chicken
>cook chicken
>wash knife
>wash cutting board
>eat chickem
If you make it any more complicated than this, you are trying to enforce your mental illness on others and probably (rightfully) get told to kill yourself on occasion.

if you wash the knife and cutting board under running water you contaminate everything around the sink with the salmonella spray
if you submerse a knife and cutting board in hot water i'd argue that alone is more work than eating a chicken leg with a fork and knife
and if you touched the raw chicken with your hands, you better don't wash them under running water, or you'll once again cover everything around the sink in a thin mist of salmonella goop you'll forget about until you touch it again and bring it to your mucous membranes later.
cutting around the bone and joints with a fork and knife really isn't that hard in the first place and cooking it on the bone makes the meat taste better
if you really need the drumstick to be separate from the thigh, you can cut around the joint, twist them apart with your hands and lick your fingers.
it's not harder than doing it while it's raw and you have to touch it less if you just pull it from the bag and put it straight into the pan or oven
