Why would they tout that on the packaging like it's a good thing?
I don't trust A.I. and I never will. I do not require its assistance with anything and I never will.
I can't wait until someone tries to use it as an argument settler on me.

There was a point 3-4 years ago when LLMs first started getting popular where you could make an LLM spit out some pretty deranged recipes. There were a few threads on /ck/ where anons posted their creations. Anyone happen to have any of those posts saved?

Remember a year ago trying to make a vanilla cake for my sister's birthday and half way through cooking the page disintegrated into AI nonsense. I knew something was up when it recommended two whole cups of vanilla extract to the point I could still smell vanilla after leaving the house

Yes, a couple times, when I thought 'this is so simple not even AI could fuck it up.'
And who would've thought? AI fucked it up. It was either completely underseasoned or absolutely inedible. AI has no understanding of taste and its ability to scrape cooking content is limited to backwater BBWs who're dumping frozen boxes of enchiladas into a baking dish full of canned sauce. Every time I see a "COOKING WITH AI" thread I gain a few gray hairs because it reminds me that anyone younger than me has absolutely not one fucking idea on how to cook something as simple as a grilled cheese sandwich.

I know this is a luddite board who likes to pretend AI from 5 years ago is the state of the art, but I unironically ask Claude for every single recipe I make ever since I started started living by myself about a month ago.

People are still making some interesting things that you probably won't see AI recommending much because it's much less popular.
It could be good if it makes the shitty content creators lose appeal though for more basic things.

I can't cook. If I could look at a recipe and tell something was obviously wrong with it, I wouldn't need to rely on recipes in the first place. Why would I introduce another variable to the process? If I'm going to put the effort into trying a recipe, then I need to trust the source somewhat.

I've seen mistakes here and there but it's mostly an outlier error than an entire recipe being wrong. you'll catch the errors if you have a basic idea of proportions like a tablespoon of dry thyme being a bad idea.

I tried evil neuro’s cheesy last supper: https://vedal.ai/bytes/something-cool.html
It didn’t turn out great. Despite all the cheese it mainly tasted like bread mush and onions.
