for me? it's the hashed brown.
excellent with ketchup or on it's own, but what if there was something... more? how do you like to spice things up when it comes to the humble hashbrown

Honestly for hasbrowns I like them plain and simple. Just starchy potada, fry oil, and a good amount of salt. I go overboard on seasoning and dips with homefries, but I just love hashbrowns too much as they are to tamper with them

For you WHAT is the hashed brown?

Are you saying it's your choice of breakfast potato?

I don't approve of your use of the word 'humble' here or anywhere on this board in regard to foods.
>>
>>21907899
Not OP but if I made a bologna sandwich on white bread surely calling it "humble" would be justified

>For you WHAT is the hashed brown?
'tis the perfect compliment to any breakfast meal, and also an excellent standalone snack. and yet, as a perfect food without flaw in any way, shape, or form, perhaps it could be a centerpiece to a masterwork. humble though it may be, given it's single ingredient status.

Pomegranate molasses.

over easy eggs are the perfect complement to this style of potato.

I was asked a question. I answered it. What is confusing you?

those are smash browns, not proper hashbrowns.

I love potato gems (aka tater tots) with gravy. Hash brows are basically massive potato gems. Maybe you could try gravy with them
>>

I find too much salt and they are ruined.Less salt is better. Zero salt is best.
>>
>>21907981
How would "a good amount of salt" be "too much salt"? Like, if it's too much salt, it's obviously not a good amount of salt.
>>
>>21907894
>the humble hashbrown
>humble
There is nothing humble about the hashbrown. In fact, it's the complete opposite of humble. It goes out of its way to be deep fried. This is frowned upon in the community. Trying to superficially enhance flavors this way is cheap. Not a proper glow up. The original potato is humble. The hashbrown is not.

Sorry I didn’t mean to offend you, I was just curious how you apply the pomegranate molasses?
>>
>>21907982
saying "a good amount" normally means a Lot in the modern nomenclature vernacular
>>
>>21908000
Yeah but still within the acceptable range of salt amounts.
>>
They only need salt. Little ‘chup on the side maybe.

>or on it is own

I guess I like them best because I like them better than the McDonald's style and I like the McDonald's style better than tater tots.

I like putting a hashed brown in a cheesed burger and following it all up with a couple of scoops of iced cream
>>
>>21908109
Unironically though, hashbrown patties are an excellent burger additive.

have you ever pickled your burger?

Another generic brown people thread made by a faggot who hates the actual taste of food and thinks everything is bland unless it's seasoned to hell and back. Your defective taste buds are the issue not the food

You answered it like a clueless fuck suggesting shit that has no place near a hash brown

Bleu cheese cumble. A good bleu cheese dresing is acceptable, but it's a rare bottled product that's worthwhile. Pretty much only Bob's.

This is a warning.

These are NOT hashbrowns.

Insinuating such is grounds for violence.
