OK, enjoy being sick
>>
How is it manufactured?
>>
I'll stop taking it if it comes from an Indian's ass like most medications

Just looked it up. It comes frim sheep's wool. I don't know why OP is so grossed out about it.
>>
>>21908839
From lanolin. Only the most die-hard vegan PETA-tards think lanolin extraction is harmful to sheep. The wool is shorn from the sheep as a matter of course to keep them healthy and comfortable, because modern sheep will keep fluffing up until they die without humans shearing them. The wool is then treated chemically to remove impurities, lanolin of which is one of the most significant, used for cosmetics and Vitamin D production.

Probably from the chemicals they use to extract it.

Domestic sheep have been bred for the purpose of exploiting them for their wool

Non-vegan B12 supplements come from fish poop.
>>
>>21908861
lanolin is the smegma they collect from the skin folds of sheep

Just get sunlight, dummy. It's free and there's usually a ten-hour window unless you live in Bongland. Take your shirt off when you eat lunch.
>>

Non-vegans do not need b12 supplements.
>>
>>21909063
Such as? Not him, but tell us what is so concerning to you. I'm curious to know.
>>
>>21909999
I know. Your average meat consumer's body has days of B12 stored and animal proteins contain a shit ton of B12. Even canned tuna.

stylish
Could just like that go right on stage to model for the next winter fashion.

Actually that's very hot

All supplements are toxic. They're all made from petrochemicals, various waste products, rancid oils, plant toxins, etc. Pharmaceutical drugs are the same way

D2 is the same as D3 since your body doesn't care. You can just take your storebought mushrooms, slice them up and put them in the sun for 15 minutes and they'll make plenty for you.

Or you can get some sun yourself.

You clearly don't understand how chemical reactions work. Molecules don't have memories.
>>
>>21908807
I know
That's why i take my D3 from algae oil capsules
>>
There's always outdoor naked yoga. Apparently facing your bare ass towards the sun absorbs two weeks worth of Vitamin D.

your body has multiple years of b12 stored in your liver. you need an extremely small amount of it per day. however, you also absorb an extremely small amount from eating food so your stores also require years to build back up if they are depleted. (unless you get high dose b12 shots or take b12 tablets)

Imagine the smell

NAC supplements are made from ground duck feathers, the ones rejected for insulation.

nigga doesn't know there's dozen's of companies, and a lot of them used freeze dried fruit extract.

reminds me of one of my favorite lines from literature. in aristophanes' clouds, they encounter people bent over looking at the ground. one guy asks "why are they bent over like that?" the other goes "their assholes are studying astronomy"

You still need K2
Sunlight's great but that doesn't mean it's dumb to supplement

dihydrogen monoxide, extremely toxic in certain quantities (when ingested or breathed in)
also responsible for brain tissue loss when you have encephalitis
at hot temperatures it can become extremely hazardous and can explode if contained improperly

Shut the fuck up anon. Don't be a dick. I just wanted to know what he was legitimately concerned with. Maybe it was nothing after all, but I like to know and understand people's concerns Etc.
I'd appreciate your banter in other settings...

Anon, nobody here knows about deriving vitamin D3 from lanolin. You have detergents, saponification agents (sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide), organic solvents (ethanol/methanol, hexane/heptane, acetone, etc.), yield improvement reagents (acetic anhydride, oxidizers, hydrazines), UV irradiation (your body does this too, but the UV has adverse health effects on your skin), and purification solvents (ethanol, hexane/heptane, silica, etc.). There's also potential for exposure to pesticide residue on the wool. This all seems like something to be concerned with, but unless you go and live like a hermit and grow your own food you're going to be ingesting all of that and more. Various regulatory bodies require at least some level of purification of the final product.
Lichen-based D3 supplements also exist, but those will have similar processing steps and, being plant-based, will also have pesticide contamination.
Every large-scale industrial process will involve a bunch of weird shit to improve yields. You can either assume that regulations mean you get a safe product, or stop consuming anything under the assumption that companies will kill you if they can get away with it (which they absolutely will).
