whenever im making a big batch of fries at home to freeze i cut up my old packs of tortillas in the fridge (those plastic bags with the mini-tortilla stacks of like 25, 50, or 100) into chip sizes and fry em.
freshly fried tortilla chips you make yourself (in something like tallow) are so addicting its almost impossible to not eat like 10 tortillas' worth of chips without even breaking a sweat
