>cancer non stick coating
Non stick coatings cannot give you cancer unless they are heated past 500 degrees F. You can literally eat teflon perfectly safely. It just passes through like gold leaf.

I don't know, pfas in stuff like hiking jackets don't get heated and it's proven to forever stay in the body

simply scrap off the nonstick coating

They literally require a nonstick coating. Most of them include a rounded non-scratch spoon for rice extraction.

pressure cookers do the exact same as this but are better desu
>I tried cooking and it became glue...
you tried to cook rice a singular time and gave up? just change the cooking times (i do 1:1 water rice, wait till boil, stir and then 10 mins at lowest heat with lid slightly open) or try with a different rice type, long grain rices like jasmine and basmati dont get as sticky as short grain rice

Sure. I use this one and it's fine. I ditched the plastic spatula for a bamboo one.

Who's more annoying, non-stick schizos or seed oil schizos?
>>
>>21909602
I wouldn't mind nonstick if it actually fucking worked longer than six months. At least with the steel you can scrub it forever.

the smallest instant pot I can find is 3L and that's like... 5 times the capacity for me...
>gave up
well no but I thought I could also steam veggies.
I want to make persian basmati rice cause I got given some and it was very tasty and un-rice like, I usually hate rice but it was amazing, so I'm pretty obsessed now. I usually cant even eat much rice cause its sticky and horrible.

both of those are legitimate, though. and I only use olive oil too.

Or the silicon inserts. Or buy a dedicated stainless steamer pot from a chinese grocer, online.

Just spend a little more and buy an InstantPot. It cooks rice like a champ and does hella lot more.

All surfaces in contact with food are stainless steel, polished. Food doesn't stick unless you forget your food on saute in which instance deglaze aand continue on.

the smallest one is 3l... what the hell am I gonna do with 3l? I was gonna get a 0.4 one or 0.8

You can load an InstantPot with a small fraction of its nominal capacity and it performs. But you knew this already, right? Right?!

is this the mentality that leads Americans to buy XBOXHUEG monster trucks that choug 9001 liters of fuel to go to the grocery store?
I don't think I even have a place to put something that big
you can feed like 20 people with that amount of a pot, its just silly
