before my mother died one of the things she ate was vienna sausages dunked in mayo, then she would drink the mayo through a straw. she also had a blood sugar level of over 400.

They are actually really good sliced, chilled and mixed with mayonaise, and peppers and/or hot sauce. 1 can of them plus 1 level cup of mayo and just add as much as you want of the other stuff and let it chill for awhile. It's a good snack.

i worked at a fancy tapas restaurant and the head chef loved vienna sausages. he would describe in horrific detail about how he would chew them up and then force them through his teeth with his tongue before sucking the paste back through while aerating it like drinking a fine wine.
