FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK
I went to get a delicious double Baconator today from my usual Wendy's, and it's one of the ones that got closed -- the place was boarded up as if some irate employee had smashed all the windows or something.
So I went to the next one about 4 miles further away, and guess what? THAT ONE WAS CLOSED TOO.
Went home burgerless and looked it up, and the only one near me that is still open is the shitty one managed by some asshole who hates everyone and leaves his soda machine broken all the time so you can't get refills.

Shares depend on the splitting of the other shares. If there's a 1000 shares that's different from 100. It becomes less valuable. But it democratises the company more.
Did employees get rewarded in shares? Would be a good reason to make them individually worthless.

>Local Wendy's nuggies clearly degrade in quality
>Burgers seem sus too
>Stop going
>Be hour away
>Grab Wendy's since Im not really craving anything
>This location has the old nuggies and burgers that are higher quality
It's been months since my local one swapped them, do Wendy's have different sysco orders depending on location? Seems like setting up some for failure

OP here, glad to. For me it's the Polymarket, though. I've been testing the waters on it for about a month now and have won four out of five bets I've placed that have completed -- one nearly 6X, two nearly 2Xes, and one that paid about 7%. Biggest problem is that I have to go in through Gemini, which only gives me access to a very few bets, and most of those are stupid shit like sportsball or "what will shitcoin price be on 3/5/2026 at midnight?"
It's a different sort of betting system than I'm used to, I've been doing parimutuel betting on another platform for about four years now.

They're not using Sysco, they have their own supply chain. But yes, they definitely have something going on with different centralized suppliers.
Around 2-3 years ago they shrank the Baconator, but they didn't shrink it at all locations at the same time. The one near me shrank it, but the one I went to about 25 miles north of here when I was buying computer parts at Microcenter still had the old larger size. Then a couple of months later I went back to Microcenter and that one had shrunk its Baconator also.
Strangely, the one by Microcenter shut down completely about a year ago. Just like with my two close ones that I just found were shut down, it was in a busy area and should have been doing fine financially. FFS the second one I tried to go to yesterday is in an upscale suburb. They were one of the last ones to still keep doing the Tuesday evening all-you-can-eat chili.
