who the fuck rubs the teeth against the sponge instead of running the sponge along the length?

for me it's the wire mesh rack that goes in my air fryer toaster oven

For me it's trying to clean the cheese grater.

Use a brush for that.

You use a dishwasher for that, retard.
>but but but what if it makes the serrated blade slightly more dull???
It's fucking serrated, the sharpness isn't nearly as important.

I do that and somehow, this sneaky mother fucker manages to still chewed it up. Perhaps there's a set of hidden teeth on the back.

>dishwasher
I call those hands buddy.

I cook too much not to utilize a dishwasher so if it's already running may as well put the serrated cutlery in there along with the forks and spoons. If you don't cook enough to make a lot of dishes then I can see it not being as much of a boon. But I can afford a dishwasher and I use my time better than someone carefully scrubbing a serrated knife.

There are people who will use 3 different cups throughout the day, and there are people who will reuse the same one for the whole day, or even a few days if it's just for water. I do my best to use as little as possible cause I dont really enjoy washing dishes.

I use the same cup for a few days but that's not really the same thing as preparing a dinner most nights that needs a decent bit of prep because it's a main and two sides. Even if you're fastidious about ordering the use of mixing bowls or cutting boards or pots and pans to get more use out of them you'll still end up with a decent few dishes if the things you're preparing are more complex than reheating frozen food or adding 1-2 ingredients to a box mix.
I've lived and cooked in houses without a dish washer and still do when I go to thanksgiving at the folks house. It's doable but it's a far less convenient and far more time consuming life if you enjoy cooking as a hobby, which is time consuming in itself even while being fun.

Yea I get you. I enjoy cooking too, don't get me wrong. But for me, majority of the time it's simple things that I try to use the same diah/cutlery multiple times to avoid dishes stacking. Sometimes I'll even use a napkin as a cutting board, and consider not going past the paper to avoid scratching countertops. I've even found myself using my teeth to cut things for smoothies instead of dirtying a knife. Sounds gross, but I was the only one using the blender, so really who cares? Bite the carrot once and put the piece in the blender. This is most likely one of my weird things I do that I know is something to keep to myself when talking to people in public lol.

I won't hate on it if it's your style. I'm overly wasteful with paper towels and I probably don't behave as mindfully as I should about reusing things during cooking because I have the dishwasher to fall back on.

Im frugal in many ways I guess lol. Dish washers are nice, but sometimes we just gotta make do with what's available.

Buy cheap generic toothbrushes.
Use those from serrated knives, and cheese graters, and other crap with tiny little groves that will tear up sponges etc.
the tooth brush bristles get into tiny grooves, and uneven surfaces, and are cheap as hell, and will last months.
The tiny bristles, when combined with Bar Keepers Friend, will clean around the rivets and handles on cooking pans well, and get baked on crud out of the tiny grooves.

just go opposite the direction of the grates. you shouldn’t be using the thumbtack side for anything ever
