they are almost as bad as the people who bitch at people for not liking a specific thing. nobody like everything. Stop pretending. it doesnt make you seem cool or sophisticated

Nope but if that's all you eat then you're a failure

Yep. Pickiness doesn't exist when you're in dire need. In fact, picky eaters as a concept didn't really exist before the end of WW2. Can't really afford to be picky during the Great Depression

I don't mind picky eaters as long as it's something consistent. Some texture or taste they don't like that can be avoided.
What I can't fucking stand is people like my father that just arbitrarily decide they won't eat something and/or refuse to eat leftovers.
No eggs in anything, ever, they're disgusting! Except in every baked dish and custard! Lemon bars are my favorite!
Any spice beyond black pepper? Oh god it's too spicy it's inedible! Butter Chicken? No way that looks gross I won't eat Indian food. Mmm but hey what about a thick chicken stew! How about pizza? Just make sure it's the thinnest crust imaginable with as many greasy toppings as possible, and if a single vegetable grazes the pie I won't touch it. Also this calzone I had stuffed with onions and peppers one time was great!
I gave up trying to actually cook meals for him a long time ago. Frozen pizza, burgers, packaged fried chicken (he won't eat homemade), maybe white people tacos or soup on occasion.

I would say if you constantly are naming stuff you don't like when asked, instead of stuff you like.
If you eat 10 or less different foods then you're really picky. But I don't know if there's a number that's agreed upon

my dad is a picky eater. the only thing he eats out of these 4 is the hotdogs. he doesnt like pizza, mac and cheese or nuggets.
i wish i had other parents cause mine are incredibly retarded, so much I sometimes think I was switched at birth or something. there's probably a family with fairly intelligent parents stuck with a mouthbreather for a kid.

There are a few flavors I don't like but I probably wouldn't send the dish back if they were included. Picky eaters who retch at the idea of putting normal edible food is strange to me. Like I don't like ginger, but if I was forced to eat a piece of ginger, I'd chew and swallow and it would be gone, no big deal

But what does everyone think about "forcey feeders"? the opposite arch nemesis of the picky eaters, the ones that want to force everyone to eat EXACTLY the foods that they don't like for no reason?

>I dont let it bother me. Everyone has something about them that's going to look weird to someone else. Look past the superficial and see them for them.

they have a much stronger sense of taste and smell. they smell and taste things that normies do not. food that taste perfectly fine to you will taste and smell disgusting. super tasters are less likely to get food poisoning.
