how much of the vicious hate for Japanese cuisine on /ck/ is because they aren't white?

I was there a year ago and I found it to be great but I think I'd struggle if the majority of my meals were Japanese food because the flavor profile of sake/mirin/soy/sugar gets old after a while. But I could eat sushi 2 times a week at least for the rest of my life for sure.

idk, usually even white supremacists are chill with the Japs because they're weebs. I think it's mostly just contrarianism. there are a lot of people around who just cannot admit to liking something popular.

I like lots of popular things. What other people like, dislike or are indifferent to will never affect whether or not I like, dislike it an indifferent to it. I judge on merit and I just don't think Japanese food has much of any other than being pretty.

The aggressive hate is just from idiots who aggressively hate anything. Volume of hate is not mostly towards Japanese food though, that’s honestly delusional.
This >>21915494 doesn’t count as hate.
I personally love Japanese food, it’s my favorite cuisine, sushi is my favorite food. But i can’t objectively disagree with people who say it’s more bland than other cuisines. That doesn’t change how i feel about it either lol

>the vicious hate for Japanese cuisine
I don't think it really gets that much vicious hate. Some people might say it's a bit bland or sushi/Japanese curry isn't anything to get super excited about but that's it. It's pretty mild compared to the hate for others like Indian, Chinese, Mexican.

Is your question
>is the hate for Japanese cuisine coming from people who are not white
or
>is the hate because Japanese people are not white
because for the first question, a lot. Loads of coons hate Asians because they get told to stop stealing in Asian owned stores. As for question two, Japanese are honorary Aryans and are morally white.

I’ve noticed that people who seem to not care for Japanese food are used to foods that are more in-your-face in terms of flavor, like stuff that really packs a punch such as Thai food or really saucy Mexican food. Those people are savages who can’t appreciate more subtle flavors.
For example, people who complain that Japanese sweets don’t have “enough sugar.” Their palettes have been fried by westernized overuse of salts and sugars.

I'm in Japan right now and I've been gorging myself on konbini slop, it's not bad. Also raw fish in large quantities.

because it's overrated as fuck. It is a one trick pony with sushi (I will admit it's a very good trick) but otherwise their dishes aren't very impressive. I know ramen gets fellated but I find it bland compared to other noodle/soup dishes.

> high impact flavored foods are for savers
That’s dumb and wrong. People can just want different things out of food.
I think you have a point about the sugar though. I’ve never actually seen that complaint but Japanese food is PLENTY sweet, their desserts can be one dimensionally sweet too.

Nope. Just that Amerimutts don't always consider kazakhs "Asian" cuz red hair or blonde hair or blue eyes or because they just don't know that Kazakhstan literally borders China and has locals that look like this.
