Issue 37: The Dispute

Seems Artibani did do some work on this together with Radice.
Radice is the new main plotter of the series going forward, and will stay in that role until the beginning of New Power, after which she'll do specials, one-pagers, and an occasional issue.

The Congregation is in an uproar at the Oracle's proactive behavior.
Slight issue is that they were not supposed to know about the room with the memory spell in issue 32, but I guess since the Oracle hinted towards it in issue 36, he might have divulged that he did it since?

Kinda weird that one option is for the Oracle to just declare himself not guilty of wrongdoing by the power vested in him.
Though I assume such a decision would weaken his credibility a lot further and lead to many more disputes.

Yes. Erasing her from her family's lives was a terrible thing to witness, but Phobos' line about equating her experience to the astral drops is strangely reminiscent of Lewis who does something similar to Aravis in A Horse and His Boy.

Orube doesnt have a concept of money or jobs, and all children are given up by their parents at a young age to be raised by temples, so does Basiliade have some totalitarian utopia thing going on? At the same time Endarno talks about trades >>153166497 so Basiliade does have jobs and money.Maybe "Endarno" is just assuming Basiliade is like Meridian with people having trades and doesnt know that they dont have money. Tolkien would focus on the differences between the real world of the girls and Kandrakar. Kandrakar would probably be portrayed as an idyllic natural world compared to the industrialized one that the girls live in.

Thank you so much for saying this. I have seen it all too common in the W.I.T.C.H. fandom community that when it comes to Irma and Martin a person will try to vilify one and put the other on a pedestal. Your take needed to be stated. Its almost like people forget these two are 13 years old.

When it comes to Martin way too many people insist he deserves Irma without taking his annoying behavior into account. The other side exaggerates his negative traits to the point of making him out to be a junior sexual predator. When it comes to Irma one side portrays her as a bully and the other side ignores her using her own powers for social situation and acts like she never did anything questionable. You mainly see stuff like this in fanfiction with people who have shipping agendas or on message boards where a certain person wants to slam one character.
Me, I like all of the characters I acknowledge they written as flawed teenagers, that was the point. The whole story was about all of them outgrowing their flaws.
