>>154105490 I'm hoping it made enough to give our vore queen enough money to live a comfortable life. Even if we don't agree on everything, I hope Goose makes the best of this show's success.
Anyone else get the vibe that the fake Pomni in the Ragatha abstraction door scene during the mind meld was Goose's projection of the shipping portion of the fandom?
>Jax - Goose says she relates to him the most, same age in 2017 >Gangle - Pathetic weeb that wanted to make webcomics, worked fast food >Zooble - has gender issues, looks similar to Gooseworx's actual online avatar >Ragatha - ragdoll, Gooseworx was obsessed with that Raggedy Ann movie as a kid >Buble - literally voiced by Gooseworx
>>154105590 same lmao, its just 14mb, i mean its not like the lots of layers that instead of removing these i just set it hidden managed to get inserted into the file.
>>154105541 I will now fix epsiode 9 and utrn it from 7/10 to 9/10
1. biggest change, jax doesn't fully abstract. Then manage to partially unabstract him and he's in the tent writing in pain, apologizing for everything, convinced he's about to die, as is everyone else. he's begging to stay, promising that he'll be nice to gangle, regretting never allowing ragatha to help him etc. pathetic.
2. This is when caine returns, repairing pomni, Jax, and the whole circus before his apology
3. take out the live action stuff, pictures only, and REMEMBER WHEN THEY ENTERED HE CIRCUS
4. Jax is now saved, but traumatized, and not doing the Jax face as he's featured in the closing credits, always holding pomni's hand
Twitter keeps fucking up the image, anybody know why? it just looks like a weird screwed upmess when I upload it but the thumbnail is fine until it's on twitter itself
>jax's missing tail >what happens when jax holds his breath >why he's afraid of corn >his entire persona still intact inside the abstraction so much was left on the table it comes off like the last episode was rewritten last minute
>>154105107 # >Thank you, I was really trying to make sure I got your concept down, but the main issue is that they'd need the sex update unlocked in my opinion to be able to realistically have this so it'd need to be after Caine is more chill but that's fine imho since if this is after he locks up Bubble/Able then he's in a state of a more reasonable mind set while also being concerned that he's being replaced again. Oh wait, the draft for the timeline difn't make that clear, huh? Peri is essentially be an accident that occurs after E2: Pomni and Ragatha collide with each other at such ridiculous speed they just glitch and some of their data merges to create a new entity. (It's more about the spectacle than the logic) They never asked for Peri, or even were a couple at that time: she just fell on their laps calling them mom and all they can do is roll with it, as awkward as the situation is, because they can't imagine leaving the kid alone and confused - especially not Pomni after the whole Gummigoo thing.
> The idea that Peri ends up being their own person is fine, but it should be built on their own experiences and emotions along with whatever parts from Ragapom she took after. If that makes sense. Ragatha's energy, temper, and desire to be loved (or fear of being hated?), Pomni's curiosity and empathy, mixed with a lot of clumsiness and sensitivity - not to say crying. That's Peri for ya.
> "I bet you never had friends" implies she thinks about the outside life or before she joined the circus and I'm not sure if that's something you thought about for Peri or not She ain't in the know about that stuff (yet). I now realize I really need to make an actual bio for that homunculus instead of sharing random facts if people want a clear idea of what she is and what she's not.
>>154105740 (Forgot picrel) >>154105492 > Her creation was an accident, so it doesn't need the sex update, but, if a "good "ending like the canon one happens it would be funny if sex results in more entities like Peri being created Abstragedy firing themselves out of separate cannons to make a child > I am glad I motivated you to keep going with the Peri AU If it serves the Ragapom Master Race!
>>154105718 Abstraction confuses me because either all the Abstracted are alive inside their messed up forms which would kinda explain Kinger and his wife's scene together early in the series. Or Pomni just got to Jax early enough before his mind was lost forever.
>>154105775 >Or Pomni just got to Jax early enough before his mind was lost forever This was my take on it while watching. That's why I was mad he wasn't saved. There was still hope.
>>154105772 Just something that takes its time. Something that doesn't start reverting Jax until at least a couple of chapters in. 20K would be a great start for a slow burn story that's 4-5 chapters into a story that will last around 20.
Kinda random, but I also think it's important to have a proper word count per chapter. Too many times I see writers try to write slow burn stories, but each chapter only ends up being around a thousand words, if that. In my opinion, a good, well fleshed out slow burn story tells each chapter in no fewer than 3k words.
>>154105703 It has some compression things with transparency and types of file, idk what is up with this png but its clearly something with it that is affecting these programs
>>154105775 Kinger got to Queenie right before she was fully gone. They had a moment but Kinger didn't dive in like Pomni did. Caine throws Queenie into the cellar and that's that.
>>154105513 Its funny, this show references its fandom more than any popular thing other than maybe Homestuck, yet its efforts to ve cheeky that way are still mogged by End of Evangelion
>>154105912 It's a simple answer. Something happened in the real world after Jax's human put the headset on that got him to turn his shit around and become a functional person. That never happened to Jax in the circus. He went in with all his trauma, guilt, and insecurities.
the episode should have ended with the updated theme song, then the zoom out to the void, but then a snap zoom back to see a brand new character appear before the screen goes black
>Pomni manages to bring Jax back from abstraction >The rest of the group doesn't find out about this until a week later because Pomni immediately locked Jax in her room to have sex with him nonstop all week long Here's the second season
>>154105740 >>154105761 1/2 >didn't make that clear, huh? I will be very honest with you, I read a solid chunk of it, then skimmed it then skipped it in that order to some extent, so if it was in the further later parts I likely didn't read it, though I did get the first halfish read to some extent at minimum. But I might've missed that, not sure yet. That said, it feels a bit on the nose then to have those two be the daughters and also the cause. I can say most definitely the bullshit part about code mashing like that would be more likely to cause the two to combine and abstract (Like getting two mix tapes stuck together by the films) but if we assume that were the case and we like... I guess just handwave how she is created... The main question is whether or not this affects the two who lose the code in the process (They lose the part used to create her right?) but the issue of WHEN Peri comes in would have to be relevant as well, because it's not exactly.... Gonna spawn where people spawn, since Peri wasn't brought in that way, it'd follow the path of least resistance when entering the location (So it'd probably spawn near/above? Ragapom I assume) But obviously this becomes a massive issue of "Smacking into somebody hard enough can literally recreate this", which is a super consistent method that can fuck up a ton of things. The ease of access to "Making a baby" is a bit of an issue that should be addressed later down the line but yknow.
>>154105669 >who’s your OC’s best friend in the circus? She has too many trust issues to have a "Best friend" but i think francesca maybe? >Who do they dislike the most? She doesn't really dislike anyone or at least doesn't have a reason to dislike someone
>>154105986 2/2 Pomni's Empathy, for context, is what causes her to stick with Jax as long as she does and even fight him to try and see what's going on inside him. Ragatha doesn't seem to have a temper but rather her lid to the temper she holds in has been building up for years with VERY stressful things (Hence why she started going off on Jax about Ribbit twice in Untitled) so it makes me feel like personally that makes it less likely that Peri would ever really end up crashing out too hard if at all ever really.
This would be very useful yes. I apologize if what I'm saying feels like I'm trying to go "noooo pewi dowon't hate jawxie" but I seriously don't see these situations coming nearly as naturally the more you explain what parts Peri is made of in my eyes.
Thinking about it more now, it'd be a lot more reasonable of a set up somehow but would require a bit of finagling even with the hand waving of parts I really don't wanna hand wave personally.
>>154105820 Evil Melon lord doing his shitty thing
>>154105934 For Kaijacques it’s his superiority complex being pointed out. He always saw himself as destined for greater things, an erudite, an artist, a critic. That means he can be kinda dickish at times, and even if he often makes art for others or involves others in his work, what makes people like each other is involving yourself in the personal world of others. Jumping out of your own bubble to talk to others and make room for them in your heart, not thinking of them as just uneducated rabble but individuals whose opinions and tastes matter, is the biggest lesson for Kaijacques to learn. Also he has quite a temper, he has anger issues he needs to work through and he has a miniature city in his room that he likes to stomp on for fun at times.
>>154105934 Eye contact >has a naturally creepy or intimidating stare >tries to get around it by not making direct eye contact >Ends up coming across as insincere or unfocused
>>154105994 Just uh... Keep in mind Nial is me. That name right there? I put it up for yall to figure out which anon is my ass specifically. Just in case you need to find which one if my sperging ass gooning to good writing in the corner for some reason
>>154105685 Unfortunately it looks like in the show they put him in the tank with the others It's cool to have his shape change like that over time though
>>154105956 I think i might just go full self insert here and say that he just has a big fear of people knowing who he really is because of trauma and thats why he cant bring himself to trust most of people
But honestly the more i think about it the more i realize how alot of my life is just Jax 2 LMAO i cant believe im doing a Gooseworx all over again
Just came back from watching the movie. Really satisfied by the fact there were consequences for Jax and really liked the bittersweet ending. Hadn't seen episode 8 at all either and loved the musical number and Caine going all crazy. Absolute cinema
>>154106051 I mean, a lot of us put part of ourselves in our OCs. Kaijacques is part of how I express and work through my autism. The difference is we can have our OCs change for the better (as can we), instead of killing them off in kinda pathetic and balls-to-the-wall ways lmao
>>154106051 That being said this could be very interesting to write about Someone just like Jax entering the circus after Jax already died, how would the others react? How would especially Pomni react??? The more i think of slippy the more i want to write about him but I HAVE NO TIME!!!!!!
I understand goose now this is fun >>154106069 I would like to give him a more optimistic ending probably lmao >>154106091 Nah dont get me wrong i still like the arc that Jax had in the movie but it wouldnt make much sense for a second tragedy for a very similar type of guy to happen a second time, and im not that attached to this OC to be against him ever abstracting
>>154106104 no it should've looked like those thicc ringmaster designs that were briefly popular before goose shot down speculation that he'd be the villain of the finale
OK, imagine if Jax went with zooble and gangle on an adventure to a night club, and Zooble caught him looking longingly at muscular male NPCs... what would the ever tactful zooble do?
>>154105986 Yeah, easy to call bs on it. It started with the vague "data colliding", then I came up with that ridiculous image that raises more questions than answers. Definitely needs to be reworked or be given an extremely very good explanation. >>154106005 Eh, you don't want Jax to be used as a cheap villain or sacrificial lamb and that's reasonnable. How much Peri actually reflects Ragapom's qualities and flaws is non-negligible. An actually consistent and satisfying Perilore isn't gonna happen overnight, but you guys gave me plenty to think about!
>>154105669 of the canon cast, Ragatha. Barbra had a really bad breakdown after Jax pushed her buttons in the worst way possible (pic unrelated) and Ragatha was willing to bear the pain of being her pincushion until she pulled herself together
I'm surprised how much I liked Kaufmo. For a guy who gets very few lines in a single episode across the entire series, I really fucking felt for the poor guy.
>>154106265 Like I've said before, I genuinely believe it's Egoraptor's best voice role in anything he has ever done. I gotta give props to him even if I think he's a faggot.
Nothing about how they got into the circus really makes sense when you think about it. Why was Ragatha, a realtor, exploring the old and yet to be cleared out and potentially dangerous building? Why did this building, despite being looked into by Ragatha as a successful realtor, remain in a state of disarray and become a ruin? How did Gangle, who was apparently hit by a truck, find her way into the ruins of C&A to put on the headset? What happened to C&A? Why did Kinger just leave his and Scratch's advanced AI creation on a fucking computer somewhere? How do they still have power? All these questions will never be answered, because there is no possible satisfying answer! Why is this shit so badly fucking written.
>>154105934 The cops. I've also been thinking he would have deep-seated terror of being powerless like his victims. If Caine confronted him to his trauma in E7, he would be immobilized by a multitude of pincers like his and harassed by onslaughts of stingers. (Victim turned abuser)
>People keep trying to gaslight me into thinking Jax is a deep character >His whole character is "I gotta act tough to hide the fact i'm actually a sissy"
It's been proven that the NPCs can be conjured. That means Gummigoo can be conjured along with Evil Jax so that Pomni can live out her ultimate fantasy.
>>154105934 Lazy. Addicted to entertainment. Often dissociates. Shy/afraid to speak with new people. Paranoid of sharing information. Sometimes selfish. Gullible. Poor with words.
Okay, glitch, second season of TADC, okay, okay, a time skip, there are new characters, okay, okay, but Ragatha is lost or missing and Pommi lost her marbles, can I be even crueler, Goose, can you hire me?
>>154106409 >Evil Jax Imagine they recreate a section of the circus but instead put the evil versions in there. Just see what they do and test if Caine has improved.
I want to make abstracted Jax disappear and have Pomni see Jax, fully healed, in various places for a split second, just to make her think that maybe Jax recovered, only to reveal in the end that it was all an April Fools' Day prank.
>>154106115 >>154106141 >new jax-liike human appears >immediately extremely avoidant to everyone, creeped out by the circus rapist >pomni notices this >starts to avoid him since she doesnt want to relive that trauma ever again >by being one of the few that doesnt try to push themselves into him and force a friendship he immediately notices her >he starts trying to talk to pomni to see why she is so avoidant of him >they start to connect >this just makes pomni worse as everything he does reminds her of him >the story of TADC turns itself over and now the saviorfag needs to be saved instead Oh my fucking god bruh
>>154105934 >what is (You)r OC's biggest weakness? He always puts himself last, and doesn't take anyone's insults or bad treatment to heart because he's been though so much worse.
He's also annoying in that he genuinely loves being in the circus because he's not in constant pain and suffering anymore. He thinks the circus is the best thing that ever happened to him, and is almost frustratingly positive.
>>154106310 It seems like, out of everyone else's room we saw, she actually went through the effort to make it a lived in space. One could argue that Kaufmo had a bit more personal touches to his, as well, but we only got to see it in it's "painting the walls with my feces" stage, but yeah.
>>154106277 I didnt recognize him at all and liked kaufmo's few lines a lot so I have egg on my face in regards to him its a good thing he's doing the retarded dolphin voice forever on the new show though
Fuck why such a good idea now that i can't draw >>154106646 Yes, and a manifestation of Caine's intrusive thoughts, no bubble ever appears after caine removes the blue Ai
>>154106718 my idea is that he's limping around, usually getting killed because he can't walk properly. Jax is the only one not babying him
one adventure, Jax is trapped in a burning building, and he goes back in alone to try and save him, unsuccessfully in the end
then On an adventure he's done for, Jax goes back for him, and convinces him that that's not even his real leg, the pain is in his head, it's not real, and he is able to run and survive thanks to jax bullying him into not being disabled
I want to write a fanfic where, after the ending, Pomni somehow travels back in time to when she had just arrived at the circus. What do you think she would do if that actually happened?

>>154106806 Talk to Caine so he doesn't go insane (in his brain) Try to save Jax. This would be tricky because she couldn't reveal everything she knows. That would just make his insecurity/trust issues worse.
>>154106832 We gotta start including kaufmo and ribbit on these two, they feel so much like they are part of the main cast it feels wrong not to include them
On one hand I hate that any type of gender non-conformity or denial of traditional gender roles in media gets reductively railroaded into trans representation these days. On the other hand this is a very personal story being told by a trans woman which involves internalized toxic masculinity so. You know. Jax is probably trans.
>>154105934 Indecision and seemming inability to stand out. Using >>154106484 as intended form He can't seem to make a proper decision on his own, atleast none that matters. Either following what the others are doing or blind guessing it
Not just that but he seems to fit with the NPCs more than the people. He's one step away from being those mannequins and he can't seem to change it

>>154107151 That scene felt really fucking weird after they started hugging. I have no idea why it held on that for so long, nor why they had a slow "walking away from each other" shot. The fuck was the point of that?

>>154107181 i might just be schizo but it seems like something that would be suspiciously easy to animate if they needed to add it in at the last second.
>>154107212 Ep 9 made me desperately want to see more of these two pre-mental break down. They had such good fucking chemistry together before Jax fucked everything up.
>>154105934 I don't have a design but if i did his weakness would be that he takes genuine kindness from ragatha and pomni as flirting and tries to get inappropriate with them.
>>154107238 I know. It was amazing chemistry. You could have made a show around it. The tragedy would have hit harder. The only downside is the amount of porn made.
>>154107221 >The villains Slippy is the Jax of the season (that will eventually have to save Pomni) Sting is the town rapist, i dont know much of his motivations beyond this Grimy is a veteran schizophrenic that eventually kills himself Polly is a larper and wants to be like the others just like how pomni tried to be like Jax in the guns episode
>>154105795 They were all just walking ideas, when that idea becomes too unsure of itself, it becomes unable to hold form. All the characters are just an amalgation of "mind files" and they basically need reinforcement to keep themselves stable
I enjoyed watching it in theaters but i was somewhat disappointed. I can't tell if it's because i was accidentally spoiled or because i was let down by the finale in certain parts. I know for a fact though that revealing the real humans behind the characters was a dumb idea.
>>154107326 Jaxbro I assume? I liked the ending better on the second viewing. I never minded the reveal of their actual selves, but I think the after credits bus stop scene was dumb and unnecessary.
>>154107314 I wasn't even really shipping them that much after the final, but out of the 100+ pics I have of Ribbit, like 40 of them are hop-less, so it's growing on me lmao

>>154107373 Because why would their identities matter if they can't get out. Ep 1 and 8 were the only times they talked about the exit, the entire time they didn't actually attempt to leave so seeing their identities as the final thing to accept their fate doesn't work that well since they weren't that desperate to leave in the first place.
>>154107353 Here it is, I remember this post because it's one of the only 2 post that someone else made that refers to my OC by name lol (oh also the guy that posted this fucked up a few names lol)
>>154107397 Because they would be completely different people. It wouldn't actually be Ribbit, Jax, Kaufmo, or any of the people the circus members actually knew and cared for. They would just be new versions of them. Copies without the original memories.
>>154107407 I wish the show had been more angsty. It had its moments but they felt much lower-stakes than my dramatic telenovela-loving ass would have liked.
Im rewatching the part where caine gets internet access, what the fuck does it mean when scrappy appears? Did caine undid his abstraction? Is it a flashback to when he first appeared? If it is why did caine pull up his name and some pieces then put it the circus before appearing, did he conjure scrappy? What
>>154107343 >>154107373 I also thought the post-credit scene was unnecessary. They already fulfilled their purpose. I didn't really feel much about the it because those are not the characters we love.
On the other hand, I loved pic related, it's very simple, cute, and relevant to us, and it felt very emotional to me. This should have been the post-credit scene.
>>154107427 What is your oc? Sir zack? >>154107488 I interpreted the post credits scene as just a nod that they all live in the same place but dont really know eachother or talk, so they would never know what happened in the digital circus. Really dont see the issue with it.
>>154107528 Anon sometimes you just need to turn off your brain and enjoy the message its trying to pass Yes its unlikely that they would ever get together in the same place just to wait for a single bus but who cares? >>154105641 What is so fucking frustrighting is how EASY you could fix the final if goose got off her ego and had a writing partner or at the very least some test screenings. Creators need to realize there is nothing wrong with admiting something isnt working or that you were wrong. Iteration is the best thing to happen to a creative work.
Reminder to my fellow Jax bros that for the ending to work, Jax absolutely HAS to die. I shouldn't have to explain the reasons why this is. If you don't like it, well that's what fanfiction, fanart, and post-series headcanon is for.
>>154107641 >my opinion, I won't explain it because its obvious i am right, not because my opinion is dog shit and I can't explain it.
