>>154103433 >voiced by micheal cusack Oh, thought it was someone who was really good at pulling off an Aussie accent. Still though, he put the most amount of effort into the whole thing.
It has potential, but given how they failed to exploit it in the pilot (Megaman visited Donkey Kong Country and nothing happened) I'm skeptical they'll actually do anything clever.
>>154103529 >I'm skeptical they'll actually do anything clever. Likewise, especially when the show had a blueprint all along. I'd accept this as a spiritual ReBoot successor, except it loses a lot of what made ReBoot so charming to begin with.
>>154103420 Decent premise, pretty good animation, Christopher Sabat is a godly voice actor, fantastic music because they somehow got actual big-name video game composers.
>>154103420 Lmao no. Writing is amateur as fuck and they're going to waste most of the episode count either doing stupid bullshit, only to use the last 2 episodes to explain why the setting works the way it does.
>>154109275 Because it implied we'd spend more time on Gobbles' world as opposed to focusing entirely of Flappers. Having this "teaser" serve as episode 0 was poorly executed in hindsight.
>>154103420 I kinda wish Ross was inspired by more than just mainstream 80s/90s sci-fi (space opera to be exact) and video games.
Feels a bit shallow, you know? There's so much you could pull from to influence your stories and the man picks just TV shows belonging to ONE single genre and games he likes.
>>154109468 We already understand the stakes, bozo? We saw the MC's world get destroyed. The teaser trailer showed another world getting blown up. The pilot just showed the MC failing AGAIN. This would be like if Smiling Friends' pilot ended with Desmond killing himself.
>>154109965 Trump Parodies were common since the 80s, even ones of his pre-2016 political career, like the last big parody of pre-2016 Trump I can think of is the GTA V Billionaire and Donald Love from the 3D universe .
