Are you referring to Antaeus or Le Male? Both are must-trys and I have full bottles of each. For their age and concentration both have very much above average longevity. Le Male is also very much signature MFK with its short note list but perfect harmony. Its fresh without being a freshy, fougere without being barbershoppy, vanillic without being dominated by it, just an absolute masterclass.

>have some vintage and discontinued frags with potential value
>only a couple and purely by happenstance not a collection flex
Does any anon know or have experience of specialist or boutique (uk based) shops I can walk into and sell to or trade with? I am guessing most would only be interested in sealed boxes.
Don't have social media so groups, decanting and >>18660515 are not an option and I don't wear them so they are gathering dust.

Your best bet will probably be ebay or those secondhand fashion sites like mercari or poshmark, idk if those are in UK but you guys probably have similar. Bear in mind that boutiques will probably only give you 40-60% of what they are worth. The only value of going to a shop is if you want fast hassle free cash at the cost of getting a massive hit on the return. The vintage fragrance market is very slow moving outside of especially sought after bottles.

eBay UK stopped allowing used cosmetics recently, think Etsy is the only option but with zero sellers history it would be a pain for probably less than 1k, and then risk of charge backs. >>18660975

Friendly reminder, especially for newfriends: if someone posts about or recommends
>to wear more (classic) fougeres
>montale sandflowers
>9pm and flankers
>bruno banani energy
>interracial relationships
>fucking their german/white/aryan gf
>redheads
>Mila Kunis
Or they make lengthy posts completely unrelated to fragrances and add "SOTD: [one of the frags above]", their posts are spam and you shouldn't take their opinions seriously.
Ignore them and/or report them for off topic posting, spamming/flooding or avatar/signature use.

Zoomers are becoming more and more like Asians. They have no self-confidence, they have to cope with Looksmax and fake, gaudy wealth.
In my local gym almost all zoomers wear Imagination. Always wear fougeres as a counter culture.

These edgy fragrances are just noselet traps, aren’t they? Secretions and Spinal Fluid have both been super pleasant, and unique note combinations and composition, but not the hoe-scaring body horror fragrances I was told they would be. Seminalis is closer to what I expected from Secretions, as it’s more challenging and human. I think so far the edgiest fragrance I’ve tried has been Cuoium, which absolutely exceeded my expectations and IMO is one of the best leathers in terms of overall execution. I tried T-Rex as well and that was pretty good, super intense smoky amber, and i could easily see that being normie repellant.

Same for the US, but that doesn't stop people from selling them, I buy them all the time.
>Helena Rubinstein Mens Club less than half bottle
rare but not very desirable, this is the kind of fragrance you just put up with a crazy price and best offer and hope it sells
>Armani mania 2009 but more than half bottle
even half bottle is desirable and will sell if fairly priced
>CK Escape from 90's with sandblasted glass bottle mostly full
not valuable, you can throw it in a lot with some of the others to get a few bucks
Put the Armani Mania on its own listing, put the other 2 together. If you are feeling extra entrepreneurial you can sell decants of them.

I’m just not sure what’s supposed to be unpleasant about them. Spinal fluid at the end of the day is an ozonic violet, there is nothing crazy about it. It’s cool and avant garde for sure but not le hecking epic spooky skeleton scent. Doesn’t it list meat as a note? I’ve only picked up a meal smell from Musk Khabib attar which uses natural musk. And for what its worth I love aldehydes, they’re probably one of my favourite notes. I love them in Chanel frags, I love them in Stercus, and I especially love them in New Look. That said I suppose my tastes are a bit peculiar, but probably not any more so than any of the real nigga autists in the thread.

Thoughts on aventus cologne? Just received this as a birthday gift and love it so far. Performance is acceptable 4-6 hours
>>
>>18661014
I've never personally tried Spinal Fluid so I can't say.
Secretions Magnifiques is a very linear overdose of aldehydes; an overdose of anything smells quite characteristic and odd and unnatural to people, think BR540 and, to a lesser extent, Encre Noire, and those two are overdoses of materials that generally smell good to people, while aldehydes typically smell odd.
New Look is the much same but with incense behind it, it opens up your nose in a way that no real smell does, and while it is definitely a matter of taste most people find that kind of smell odd at best.
>my tastes aren't any stranger than those of most people in this thread
That might be the case, but it's a worthless comparison because many people here are a very small percentage of frag autists.

I like pic related better than Babycat.
It feels less realistic, especially the leather which is weaker and more of an impression of suede than the vivid and drier tannins of Babycat, but it feels richer and better blended overall.
If you're into Babycat for the leather there's going to be no substitute, but if you like it for the comfy, fuzzy vanilla dried by suede and spice pic related is the better frag.

with my blue light filter you looked brown and I got quite worried
as for thoughts I don't have any, I do not care for aventus or it's flankers, the cologne version is lighter and it lasts for less time which honestly might not be bad

Why can't I have enough money to spend my summers in the opposite latitude and have more time to wear my cold weather fragrances? It's not fair.
>>
>>18659018
No, well maybe. I'm like that too, tried at this point 200 frags and not even own 10% of them. Around half was good, quarter alright i guess and quarter bad. And yet so few passed the "ok I got to have one" filter. Some pdm or creed picks didn't pass for obvious reasons, i do not shit out gold bars, but it was interesting to see how they hold up.
>>
>>
>>18661382
Just wear what you want, man. I have become one with "fuck seasons" after being told I was overthinking it. Most frags only last a few hours anyway unless you spray yourself down like a Hindi. Put on what you want, be happy, no one will notice unless it's an office clearing fragrance. If it is, you have other issues.

My little brother is down in the dumps and struggling to find a better job to support his family (he went backwards career wise after moving), so I decided to gift him an entry-level cologne collection that I bought by looking around a little. I got him:
>Oud For Glory (I saw some Anons saying this was a good clone of Oud For Greatness)
>Y
>Encre Noire
>John Varvatos (a pretty good, cheap leather/amber option according to Fragrantica)
>Ferrari Bright Neroli
Am I missing anything in the $30-40 range? I plan on giving him these tomorrow, but I could grab him a few more to fill out things down the road. I also plan on grabbing him a case to put the cologne in because I know his dumbass will put them in his bathroom otherwise.
>Did you ask if he likes any of them?
No, he has no idea that I'm doing this, but I figure he'll appreciate it as a guy who just uses deodorant, and it can be a good pick me up at least work wise (I figure). I was considering grabbing something he can wear for the missus like The One, but I wasn't sure.
>>
>>
>>18661428
He is the kinda guy to use any gift I get him. If he likes any of the frags, I am going to bet dollars to donuts that he'll start using them regularly. If anything, I know he'll at least try the Ferrari a few times simply because he likes cars a lot.

I am just gonna be that guy, but I don't know why you'd ever buy Creed when so many other perfumers exist. Especially at that price point. Tell me what you can't find from literally anyone that will make you just as happy (if not moreso), and does less of a dent on your wallet. I don't wanna be the resident PdE shill, but come on. Buy their big ass discovery box that has every single one of their frags for $80 and whatever money you would have spent on Creed, you could buy two frags from them that you'd probably like more.

One of the best around, big selection, and they're not going to leave you disappointed. I suggest their giant discovery set because it's a fair price for what they are selling, and it covers their whole range. Prices are more than fair for the quality. Unfortunately, because they are a true Euro shop, you won't find many of their colognes on US sites. Or if you do, the discounts are usually non-existent and the selection is poor. You're better off ordering straight from them, as much as I wish Fragrancenet carried their shit.

rank your favourites from PdE
I tried the bourbon Vetiver and it was such a weird experience. Did a test spray with a decant and was immediately hit with what i suspect to be artemisia that to which my initial thought was "what the FUCK is this". I was so off put and confused about the scent, then I started to smell the vetiver and musk mallow which I found to be too dank and earthy.
A few days later I did another spray and spent the next few hours sniffing my arm getting to know the scent, all the while thinking, who in their right mind would make such a thing, I really didn't know how to feel about it. It was so earthy and brown with green tinges, like something Indiana Jones would wear.
Finally I gave it a full wear and have come to understand the scent, it is quite beautiful, manly and rustic. Not for beginners and you have to like vetiver, otherwise its going to stick its foot up your ass. Give it time because chances are you are a noselet and cannot fathom the thing. This is also somthing you would wear for your own personal enjoyment, do not expect anyone to understand the scent, you will smell like you have been digging a hole or raiding temples.
Solid 8/10, will probably get a full bottle.

In terms of what their best product is? I'd put my money on Cuir Ottoman. It is extremely accessible, and ridiculously enjoyable, however, I am a whore for leather. My only critique of the frag is that they don't sell larger than 100ml bottles. It's probably a lifetime pick for me, so I'll end up buying several bottles eventually, just in case. 9.5/10.

How do Amouage Silver Oud and Roja Aoud compare to ouds from Ensar or Bortnikoff? Sampling ouds is expensive and I’m not sure if I want to keep getting 2-3ml decants of high-tier (in terms of price) ouds until I settle on one, or get 3 Bortnikoff travel sprays (to hit free shipping threshold), or just spread my ass hole for a $400 15ml bottle of ensar that I know will fuck.

I've not really gelled with anything Hermès. Tried the TdH line, H24 line, Rocabar... they're fine but not for me. Is it worth trying the older classics (Equipage, EdH), or maybe something less obvious like Voyage?
>>
>>
>>18661752
Okay, I just sprayed it. The oud accord here is obviously the same one used in Stercus, and it has elements of that oily rawness from Cuoium, but it still has it's own slightly balsamic and dry, sharp character that makes it unique. The hashish note is distinct without being obvious dude weed lmao and adds to the fragrance's character. Overall a little rough, a little edgy. Meets the expectations I had prior to sampling, does what it sets out to accomplish.

jokes aside, if Rocabar was not up your alley, you will probably not like the other classics, either (Equipage, EdH, Bel Ami).
Read good things about Eau d'Orange Verte and Eau de Basilic Pourpre, tried Un Jardin Sur Le Nil and liked it.
>>
>>18661800
Sounds nice, I'll probably try it if modern bottles are good. I would imagine Ellena had a hand in modernizing it.
>>18661822
I think Rocabar had a little too much cedar for my taste. But it might still grow on me as the weather warms up a bit. Some compare it to Lubin Itasca, which I do like. I love the idea of a 'forest walk' scent, I've just not found the right one yet.
>>
i never used fragrances before, other than deodorant, but i had this idea recently.
what if i were to use perfumes meant for women to smell like a woman, as a cool eccentric thing to do? i'm not even gay or anything, but it seems cool to kinda give people this feeling of dissonance, since you wouldn't expect a guy to smell like that. also it would allow me to smell women at all times, which would be kinda erotic heheh.
so, what do you think about this idea? what scents should i look into?

It's up to you to decide if that's something you think is a good idea. You should go to the drugstore and smell the womens perfume on the $20 rack. Don't bother getting into weird or expensive perfume if your goal is just to jack off to it, just get something cheap and flowery and be done with it.

Men regularly wear women's perfumes. Either because specific perfumes intended for women work on men or because the current landscape has markets traditionally women's scents as "unisex" or "men's". Interesting that you consider it a middle ground between those two, the cumin in Eau de Hermes takes it in such a hard animalic, unwashed body odor scent I can’t get past it.

It’s such a shame Eau d'Orange Verte has terrible longevity (citrus, not surprising, just disappointing) and the concentre is basically a pure basil after 30 minutes. May as well just douse in 4711, inmyopinion.

Regarding Vintage frags and their modern equivalents, are they really so different to justify the high price?
Can any anon compare vintage Fahrenheit to current formula for example? Would they be so different from eachother that average Joe soap would be able identify the vintage blind or no. Because if not, I personally don't know if I care enough but at the same time I want to know, fomo.
Also what is stopping a seller backfilling a half empty vintage with a fresh bottle and resealing the box. Or filling a vintage fully with quality dupe. Do you really think you would know?

I can never understand if this category means "Men's frags that women like smelling on men" or "Men's frags that women like wearing".
Judging by the top scorers it could be either.
>>18662169
Some are nearly the same and some are quite different, but it's up to you whether the difference is worth the price.
If you ask me there are mostly always better modern alternatives if you're willing to pay such high prices.
>>
>>18662169
Unfortunately vintage/modern is not binary but a line. It has to do with which vintage. If you're looking at a fragrance available today that was created over 30 years ago it could have gone through a dozen reformulations, some minor some major. If you are not vested enough to find out what you're buying you are just poking in the dark and rolling the dice. Unless you are familiar with how vintage frags can deteriorate, mainly in the top notes you might also be disappointed. I'm a vintagefag and so I go for the oldest vintage I can find and afford, I'm not comparing it to the modern and have no interest in the modern. I work under the impression that if I don't like the vintage I wont like the modern. I only briefly tried the modern Fahrenheit and it seemed like a different fragrance to my vintage. The modern was fresh and pushed the gasoline smell, my vintage is more floral and subtle especially with the gasoline smell. I didn't put the modern on skin and just took some whiffs off a napkin at the store so it wasn't a fair assessment, I don't know how it performs on skin.
The most reasonable approach is to focus on the modern formulations, if you don't like it move on with your life, don't try to hunt down one you will like. If you find a modern formulation you do like enough you can try to look for a vintage to see if it's better and worthwhile.

I despise this frag. It's meant to be a summer frag but it's way too sweet, immediately makes me think that the target audience is gay guys in florida, but I digress. I live in a warm country but I could never bring myself to wear something that smells like I swam in fruit punch, gotta have a citric/fresh profile. It's definitely high quality though, I'd try regular Le Beau and see how it compares.

You should sell the rest and just buy whatever new/old stock of these is available.
Not hating, abit jelly but if I was THIS into frags I would want to try and make it work for me monetarily aswell. I imagine with some foresight and lucky auctions you could end up with a monopoly on the price of some of these.
>>
>>
>>18662400
It's not a bad idea but it's too late for Mania, the price is too high and it has too much recognition to find deals. As for Fahrenheit there is just too much stock. You could probably find a specific time period, buy up all the stock, and then pay influencers and youtubers to promote it a "The Lost Fahrenheit Batch", the "The Most Mystery Fahrenheit", then invent some story or ingredient that you can "totally smell". You could make a killing but it's a huge time investment.

Came in the mail today from Lugxery. He had it discounted almost 40% on eBay. I am pretty sure it's at least a few years old. It's strong as hell. One of the strongest colognes I've encountered so far that doesn't have that as a selling point. Fragnatica say the main accords are rose, citrus, powder, and musk. I can absolutely pick up on the rose, powder, and musk, but I don't get an citrus. Ignore what Amouage advertises this as if you ever consider it (they claim it's a spicy amber EDP, it absolutely isn't). I bought it knowing that it was rosy, and powdery since I didn't have anything in that realm but damn. I don't think it smells like soap, but I can see why people think that because of the way the rose hits with the powdery-ness.
It's alright, not the best, and it certainly leans more towards the feminine but if for some reason you really wanted something rosy beyond belief with extreme longevity, here it is.

Macys as well, but yes as >>18662403 stated, Chanel got along with the Nazis just fine for good reason. Chanel is also one of the brands that literally -never- discounts its products, and they *destroy* unsold stock as opposed to putting it on discounters. They chase and shut down anyone who decants their shit, which makes sampling stuff extremely difficult. The only company that comes close is Bond Fragrances who will cease and desist you if you speak poorly of their products, then try and sue you for defamation or some such bullshit if you ignore them.
>>18662549
Her stuff is pretty good, and very, very strong, but her DNA makes a lot of her fragrances smell quite samey, so much so that owning different frags by her can feel redundant.
>>
>>18662579
>her DNA makes a lot of her fragrances smell quite samey
on one hand its cool that she has a signature style but yeah ive also heard thats an unfortunate side effect. in reality you probably dont need to own the full collection from any house if we're being honest. most people can usually narrow it down to 2-4 favorites max

I would argue Bond No. 9 is worse. They're run by an ex-Creed marketing goon that gets off on intimidating people into court cases and bleeds them dry until they don't have resources to defend themselves. Chanel might be stuffy and think they're too good for "the poors," but Bond No. 9 are run by a bunch of puppy-kicking shitheads and can't make a decent fragrance to save their lives

>It's meant to be a summer frag but it's way too sweet
lel that was my first thought when I smelled it too, that it was a winter fragrance. I hadn't seen the bottle clearly, and had to look it up when I got home.
It kinda makes sense though; it's sweet but a lot of it is coconut for instance, so that does make it summery.
I do like the overall scent profile though. And the longevity and sillage are apparently very good, so it is high quality.
I'm gonna spray it on the wrist on Monday and report back with my findings. It's supposed to be a nice sunny day, so I can even larp as though it's a summer's day.

>Gucci pour Homme II
By far my favorite. At first all I got was a sweet tea scent which wasn't bad but didn't explain the acclaim. Once I started noticing the tobacco and clean musk notes it became one of my favorite fragrances. It's not super complex but it's just a stellar scent with nice nuances. It doesn't have the best performance but it's good enough for me.
>Gucci Nobile
My favorite of the few vintage fougeres I have tried. It's very 80s powersuit with a sharp green edge. The oakmoss is very nice and lasts. Fits me very well.
>Gucci Envy
I was undecided because all I was getting was sweet ginger but it has been getting more animalic and masculine. I don't know if my nose got activated to its animalic notes since I never noticed until I read it online randomly. I'm still undecided, but I'll see how it goes.
>Gucci pour Homme 2003
I really wanted to like this and I did at first but I'm pretty sure I go noseblind quickly to its best mid notes, leaving behind only a sweet ambery base. I keep trying it but the mid and top notes just disappear. I even bought a second bottle thinking it was fake or a dud and they smell exactly the same.
>Gucci by Gucci pour Homme
This is nice smoky tobacco with lots of patchouli and cypress. It's just too sharp for me, similar to Mary Kay Tribute for Men, another great fragrance. Nice fragrances for people who want to project masculinity, aggressiveness, and strength.
>Gucci by Gucci Sport pour Homme
Very uplifting top notes and a refreshing fig but I don't like how it settles into muskiness. Not bad but not interesting to me. Similar to how I feel about L'Artisan Parfumeur's Premier Figuier, amazing top notes but then it settles into some cheap woodiness. I would enjoy them as a colognes without the base notes which I feel are only there for performance.
TLDR: Gucci PH2 is my favorite, unfortunately they are all discontinued.

Kek, that’s fine, just lurk more and you’ll learn.
And it’s funny because what you currently know isn’t even completely correct. Musk is a general term that applies to the chemical structure of the material. Synthetic musks are accurate to what you described, clean and soapy. They’re often described as laundry musks because of how ubiquitous they are in (laundry) cleaning products, but natural musks, those derived from animal secretions, are the exact opposite, smelling anywhere from faintly sweaty, furry, and somewhat akin to skin in low concentrations, to downright fecal and urinous in higher concentrations.
>>
>>18662857
its overkill. sometimes people want to wear something else later in the day. you can also just reapply if you want something to last that long. something lasting 1-2 hours is shit too, there is pretty much no excuse for anything lasting less than 6 hours unless its some citrus based edc

I'm not familiar with the Penhaligons but Escada is the quintessential cozy cool weather and night scent. Ignore >>18662929, while you can wear light summer fragrances at any time, even one spray of a heavy winter fragrance like the Escada in the summer heat is not pleasant or enjoyable for most people. There is no reason to torment yourself and others around you with an overpowering fragrance in the summer when you can just wear a light fragrance or nothing at all. Sample Grey Vetiver or other vetivers for classy smooth fragrances you can wear in summer. You can also sample Bigarade Concentree, it's not smooth like Escada but has cardamom and it's pretty classy for a summer fragrance, it doesn't last long unfortunately. Don't let what you have lock you in to a fragrance, the world is your oyster, there are many things you never knew you would enjoy until you try them.

Ambre Russe and Cuit Ottoman are enough to make you Ric Flair. I passed on Orangers, not because it's bad, but because I don't have a sweet tooth like that. It's not feminine, but god damn is it desert-y. Almost like melted orange sorbet put into a vial. I avoided Aziyade for the same reason, so I can't speak on it. You can buy PdE through Joma, which is what I did. It's not top terrible since Joma will run deals, or keep their stock at MSRP (they won't even factor in exchange rates). Weirdly, when I grabbed the Discovery kit off PdE's site... it only ran be the same price it would have been in Euros, but PdE's website (I noticed) is rather poorly coded so it's likely that even though the website calculate the difference in currency, the shop itself just charges the price in EU but alters it to whatever currency you're paying in.
Pic related as proof. If you put their Grand Discovery set in your cart, it'll automatically change to almost $89 USD (assuming you're from the US), but then on check out it just... doesn't. I'm not complaining, I just think it's funny that if it weren't for their refusal to sell on more sites (or directly) that we'd be getting a better deal than the Frenchies due to the Jenga Code that powers the site.
>>
>>
>>18663160
A seller inside the EU can not charge VAT to customers outside the Union, who will be charged local VAT by their customs.
This requires a bit of paperwork on the seller's part, so they might charge an extra for it, but it's always a net gain because then they don't have to pay the full VAT they have (not) collected from the customer to the national tax authority.
So it's more than likely that the website converts the full price to whatever currency you want, and the checkout page also takes the destination into consideration to adjust the price.
SOTD: Babycat (finishing my samples to decide whether to go for this or Encens Suave)
>>
>>18663214
I suppose my confusion stems from me changing the website to English and it automatically switching from EUR to USD (jumping from 75Eur to 89USD), and then keeping that price until I actually got to the final step in the check out and it dropped to $75. What you are saying makes sense if I am interpreting it right (it's 5 AM), which is that they can't charge VAT because I shipped the set to France even though I am physically outside of France and not a French citizen.

They can charge you VAT, they likely don't based on your location (from your IP address) if you're in the US.

That's odd but, again, it's likely because of your location.

Here is the order I just placed for Cuir Ottoman since you literally cannot purchase the 100ml bottle over in the US. There is one (1) listing on eBay for $212, and it uses an older style of bottle, as well as the bottle being partially used. Joma and the few other sites that have PdE are selling the 50ml for $140 at a minimum. Granted, my price also included the $25 discount I got from buying the Discovery set. I already knew I wanted Cuir Ottoman since it was (IMO) the best thing of theirs I got to test. I am going to probably buy a few others once I get the larger testers forwarded to me along with this bottle.

What could you compare Azemour les Orangers to in sweetness? More than something like Dior Homme Cologne? Yes, I'll definitely leave a review here when they come in.

Should I buy Rogue Bon Monsieur? I found a good price on it but I’m on the fence. I love Drakkar Noir and I wouldn’t mind adding another summer fragrance. On the other hand, I could just use that money to sample other fragrances and upgrade my skill trees.

Benedict XVI, famous, among other things, for his enjoyment of showing off material goods, had commissioned a frag for himself alone, an outdoorsy freshie according to a few news outlets.
No info on Francis or Leo XIV, but based on his work and public image I would bet Francis didn't wear any frag, and I suppose if Leo wears anything it's Dior Homme Sport or some such, but he might as well not wear anything.

>I found a good price on it
That would be the price listed on his official website, if it’s more than 5-10% lower than that (or NOT partially used) you’re buying a fake. Yes, even artisanal like Rogue gets faked occasionally.

Aura came in. Kinda disappointed. I’ve smelled this before. Smells like Daisy Wild and OG Daisy had a baby, but super fruity, fruit focused instead of floral, and a touch of rhubarb, like Perfect. I would have loved this three years ago when I downed bottles of Perfect. The reviews on Fragrantica describe it as wintergreen, menthol/minty, spicy, fairy and/or forest-like. Many didn’t like it for the spices and it seemed polarizing, but it’s just a basic green fruity-floral fragrance. Not bad, but I was hoping the million tons of spice and woods in the base notes would come through in some memorable way. Mugler is usually better. This could be a Marc Jacobs frag. GORGEOUS bottle though, I would assume something edgier and alien with the goth design. Not worth resale prices, but good for an entry level collector who likes green and sweet/bold fruit frags if you want to splurge.

Yeah, the price wasn’t suspiciously low. $100 CAD for 28/30ml with no box. Beats $120USD plus duties and cross border shipping. I know fakes are out there for everything but oddly I feel way more sketchy buying cello wrapped boxes secondhand than I do buying partials.

Absolutely. I was kind of hoping this was just a feminine leaning/marketed unisex that borrows heavily some clean citrus and masculine spice in the background. This one is SWEET SWEET SWEET. I almost don't get any literal citrus in there either. Orange blossom done in a way that smells like tea. Now that I think about it, it's Papa James Shi. Don't know if you're familiar with Daniel Rene, fragrance review TikTok. He's very inspired by Mugler. I didn't realize that's what Aura smells like to me. Daniel did it better. Toned down the fruit and made it a slightly spicy unisex.

Smells literally like gifrel.
Opens way to fem. But still wearable as a man, citrus, powdery, and strong DAFFODILS.
1-2 hours after the bright citrus goes it changes to like a just broken or mushed with a football wet daffodil, much greener and damp, still powdery but more unisex when the citrus goes
6 hours it really turns farnesol heavy, earthy oily grassy. but still daffodil but oilier far more unisex and easier to wear at this stage.
Changes a lot the day from very fem to something more unisex than no.19, then later even greener earthy masc scent, still daffodils but earthier.
After spraying it though, and getting over that powdery fem strenght, there was something familiar and after googling it is farnesol, the orris butter in DHP25 has some but very this has loads, very different scents tho. It is a very more-ish chem, like the umami of perfume.
Hyde smells like ACF-50 and Arbole smells like Hyde because I cant smell anything else now

I need a frankincense, oud, and/or myrrh done right by a relatively high end or well regarded fragrance house in the middle east, preferably one that specializes in appealing to eastern taste (and not a western dupe house like Lattafa), American and European ouds are TRASH. I was so disappointed falling in-love with oud because of Swiss Arabian. Pretty much all of them are discontinued or impossible to get in the states, and everything with that note in our frags are just stale? No wonder so many people don't like it. I never knew until I started buying western frags.

Frankincense by itself doesn't smell particularly warm or cold to me.
Sometimes it feels balsamic/cooling in the same way camphor does, but it's a contrast to the resinous, smoky, warm characteristic smell of incense, so overall it's possibly on the warmer side.
So it's not so much the incense that makes those frags smell warmer or cooler, rather the notes that support it, and the stronger the sensation of warmth or cold the less incense there is in the mix.
Spicy is something else entirely and it's not correlated to warmth - star anise is plenty spicy and cool, while nutmeg is plenty spicy and warm.
Also, instead of reading they all smell cool or cold you should try out a few and see how they feel to you.
That said, if you ask me the warmer frags in there are Interlude Man, Encens Suave, Myrrhe Mistère and maybe This is Him, and the spiciest are Interlude Man, Incense, and maybe L'Eau Trois and Fille en Aiguilles.
If you want something where the incense is still front and center but that's also wearable in the cold, I recommend Avignon and, after that, Encens Suave.

>frankincense, myrrh and oud
I'm not aware of any specifically, though it sounds like something that Amouage might have in their catalog if you don't consider them too westernized.
At any rate, I don't like oud so I'm afraid you won't ever see any such frag in the infographic.

Oh yeah, no that actually sounds pretty legit. And in that case most definitely get it, Bon Monsieur is good.
I actually gifted a bottle to a work buddy a while back and he has been wearing it the last couple weeks so now I get to enjoy both my own choice as well as that.
