I've got 30" quads and 18" calves, might leg-bulk a little but not very much. Can't fit normie jeans properly but find them uncomfortable anyway, don't have any of the other problems because I'm decently proportional.

It's more important to train legs proportional between back and front than it is to train them extensively. Mobility issues in the lower body cascade into other issues than can put more stress on the feet, knees or lower back. I think glute training is unironically not done enough by men and done excessively by women. Why this is an issue because when your hamstrings take over for your glutes in your day to day life they get tight and this limits your squat depth and makes your lower back round more and eventually that'll get stiff too. Just train glutes more and the rest of the leg less.

It's not about ass women or glutes being extremely important for women, it's just that they genuinely like developed glutes on men and it's a great bonus, but only in addition to a well developed upper body
In my experience, glutes are much higher in importance than the rest of the lower body, but they still come after arms, shoulders, and chest
The thing is, developed glutes would look fucking weird if the rest of your lower body is underveloped in comparison, which is why training lower body in general is important

I had serious back surgery and I need to strengthen my quads, glutes and abs to support my back properly. It was so had I had had balance doing bodyweight squats but I've finally gotten to the point where my nerves are communicating with my muscles. It goes far beyond vanity to strengthen my lower body and it would ne neglectful not to.

Having strong legs, at the very least is important. My lower days are more so an overall developer day for squats on Tuesday and deads on fridays. All the other stuff is core and forearms.
I often throw in 3 sets of quad extensions or hamstring curls to get in some more volume for my legs.
But my goal isn't to get massive, huge legs. I just want them to be strong and look well trained.
