How tf do you train for this? What kind of exercises did they do? It looks so different from the "chicken thighs and tits with a thick torso and potbelly" physique that is the norm today. No deadlifter's waist, no squat thighs, no bench tits, no OHP with overdeveloped fron delts. Not even full-looking muscles except the butt. And the body fat isn't extremely low either.
Can anyone tell what exercises they did from how the statue looks? From what I read, they mostly did track and field ballistic stuff, but no track and field guy looks like this nowadays. Not even close.

Reminds me of the A&F pyhsique but with bigger butt forearms neck and calves, presumably from traning for war, let's keep in mind that the statue represented a soldier carrying a spear. Holding heavy stuff and walking with it will make your calves and forearms grow like in your picrel. And then some wrestling and/or neck training and you're good.
