Recently bought a pair of these for $160. It feels like running ontop of a cloud. I used to run at most every other day because my legs and feet were sore, and I just assumed this was the reality of rooning as a newfag, but nope turns out cheap running shoes just fucking suck. I run 6 days a week (5k minimum) now thanks to these cunts.

This. Brooks are great shoes. Both the glycerins and ghosts are great for any kind of street walking/running. If you’re talking about general training shoes, Reebok nanos are ok.

Altra escalante and topo athletic ST 6. They have vide toe box, zero drop so you're neutral flat on the ground, but have enough cushioning to be comfortable. True "barefoot" shoes have zero cushioning and take some time to get used to.

I wore asics and brooks for years and my feet always feet pretty good. I switched to nike vomero 18’s this year (i know, but hear me out), and my god have they come a long way. I never thought I would be saying this. I hated nike for their politics, and because wiggers and thugs wear them, but I’m telling you: Nike vomero is the real fucking deal.
