It's different for everyone. I got over cravings in less than a week but then from week 2 to end of the first month I felt completely horrible. Random body pains, constantly out of breath, brain fog, headaches, insomnia etc.
I smoked half a pack to full pack a day for 15 years btw.

I was able to quit dipping copenhaged (hardest form of nicotine to quit) by gradually transitioning to 6mg zyns then to 4mg nicotine gum then to 2mg nicotine gum then I quit. This proccess took me like two years.
I have quit cold turkey before as well but I recommend doing it like this. You can chew nicotine gum for life and its not even really bad for you

i quit for 20 days my brother got into a crash on friday bough a pack smoked the whole thing that same night and haven't smoked it since. the best way to quit something is when you fail to go back right to your goal yk? reset the clock sort of shit don't be so hard on yourself

I was feeling zonked from work and ended up picking up a nic vape.
Biggest regret of my life. I've been hiding it nonstop since Friday. God I love nicotine but I feel like shit.
Hitting my routine and watching my poor heart work through all of the construction in my blood vessels. A good run will fix this.

As if I needed another reason to not quit
A chance of a sweet release that's technically not suicide? Maybe god is merciful

i quit ~3 weeks ago after 2.5 years of vaping and years of ripping tobacco out of a bong before that, gremlin that i am
it was surprisingly easy for me. once you get to the point where you're tired of it, embarrassed by it, and concerned enough about long-term impact on health, you basically just need to keep yourself either occupied or zonked enough for ~72 hours for the worst cravings to pass. buy some sweets and shit to substitute dopamine hits

switch to rollies. they're disgusting, make sure you force yourself to smoke the whole thing down to the butt. you'lll get so sick of the taste of them you'll quit. sounds stupid but that's how I did it. smoked daily for 10 years, been clean for 15

Damn what the fuck faggot I love rollies. I switched to vapes which is not as bad but worse for the addiction because you can just sit inside nanging it all fuckin day, you never get sick of it. Lately switched to nicotine gum which is better. I was weaning off for a while but then I decided who gives a shit? I'll just chew the gum if I feel like it.

I dont understand nicotine addiction its all mental, just dont smoke for a week and it goes away
alcohol, weed, opiates I understand, you genuinely feel awful when you quit those but cigarettes don't have any physical component you can just stop and feel fine. its like a baby not having his binky. grow up

Nicotine is good for you
Jews lied about nicotine the same way they lied about the covid vaccine and ivermetum, lung cancer went up despite tobacco use going down
The government poisoned us and needed a scapegoat to point to and they choose tobacco to go after. Look how they make hate campaigns for tobacco but advertise alcohol to the masses which has more negative effects on society

Smoke a pipe, the sheer inconvenience of it will naturally wean you off

ya idk maybe im just superior but i was vaping daily, taking bong rips of tobacco mixed with weed, the occasional drunk cig for like 3-5 years. I decided to quit the vaping and all forms of nicotine cold turkey and maybe I felt restless the first week but aside from that, no withdrawals.

Every time you crave it, hit yourself in the forehead with a hammer fist. Negative reinforcement works incredibly well, or at least it does for me.

any particular reason you chose to truncate that graph at 1985, anon?

Its bad for me. I do 6mg zyns. I got up to 7-8 a day. My teeth / gums started feeling bad from vitamin c depletion. Cut back to 4 a day, but its so easy to do more. I work a mentally demanding job and cant just go low productivity for 2 weeks to detox. Ive quit cold turkey a few times and by day 2-4 im so tired and grumpy it doesnt work with family / work.
Half tempted to just buy a vape and just take a puff when symptoms start getting rough to detox.

Ok well tobacco existed before 1900 so why did it start going up after that, its obvious something else caused the increase in lung cancer not tobacco
>>

>>77206650
the graph literally shows cigarettes per capita in the US. tobacco consumption dramatically increased with the introduction of cigarettes which didn't even exist in the US until around the 1850s. asbestos wasn't added to cigarettes until the 1950s, well after the cancer death rate went up, which makes that image you just pulled off your facebook feed equally retarded, you dumbfuck boomer

>cigarettes which didn't even exist in the US until around the 1850s. asbestos wasn't added to cigarettes until the 1950
And for some reason took 50 years to get lung cancer, and asbestos isnt just the lone cause of lung cancer there is also industrialization and nuclear testing

cigarettes were INTRODUCED in the 1850s, it would be decades before they became popular. i don't even know why i'm continuing this conversation, the data has very clearly been laid out in front of you and there's virtually a 1:1 correlation between cigarette use and lung cancer deaths (offset by ~15-20 years because surprise, you don't smoke a cig and instantly keel over and die), you're just too fucking stupid to understand it i guess.

I feel you anon. I've probably spent a couple hundred bucks on pouches at this point. Then a few weeks ago they didn't have the 6mg so I just got 9s. Now I'm buying 9s.
It really is kinda retarded to think about the way these things are priced. 20x 2mg is the same price as 20x 9mg. I was on the 6s for a while, and wasn't getting the same buzz really, but wasn't trying to go up except for the fact they had no 6s.
I've only tried zyn and velo. I don't like zyn, they get me "nic sick" far easier, and the pouches feel like they're disintegrating. The velo branch has a compartment in the top so you can pause a pouch if it's hitting to hard.
Not even bullshitting, I think it 100% does affect your dick. It's a vaso constrictor, so IDK the exact science here. I do however know that my dick is hanging more than it generally would without nic.
