You're retarded, cutting as a skinnyfat is a sure way to looping back to it or looking even shittier. If you're within normal range bmi skinnyfat you should just do a slow bulk to build muscles then cut. The other option is retarded and redundant and adds an extra step since you'll have to eat more for muscle either way.

what worked for me as i had been that weight for awhile was just solely focusing on diet and lifting when i felt motivated. Of course i have been lifting my whole life idk what your experience is really. But i just prioritized the weight loss trying my best to hit protein and eating clean whole foods, then i would lift when i could if i was resting or couldnt lift for whatever reason i would just do what i could ya know. I tried to eat a range of calories primarily 2000-2500 calories, now i have a more structured routine as i am used to eating this amount of food and such, but for someone just starting you need to get used to being hungry lower volume on your lifts and acccept they will probably be shit for awhile, also i used navy body fat test for my first measurement and ai for the second navy says i am like less than 9% which i am not so i switched to showing my body to ai hence the 12%
