lrn2read. The human body is designed for walking, its an activity the body will get very efficient at. And not burn enough fat to lose weight if they continue to have a bad diet.

It does makw people less fat. Also it incrwases insuline sensitivity of the cells, turning more sugar into energy, instead of storing it as fat. Yes, there are some people who increase their calories in, but even they get much healthier, despite havibg the same weight.

Furthermore, what the other poster was suggesting is true; cardio doesn't expend much energy especially not walking, we are adapted to walking and the more you walk the more EXERCISE SPECIFICITY you will gain ie the muscles involved in the motor pattern will become more efficient meaning you will expend less energy for the same work. He's correct that unless they change their diet habits they will see minimal results, perhaps a short period of weight loss before the body finds a new equilibrium.

This is Dunning-Kruger nonsense. One's metabolism controls how efficiently they burn calories, but the fact still remains that if CI is restricted or CO augmented, you will be even more efficient at burning off your stores.
