Hey guys, I'm a skinny guy looking for advice on how to build muscle. I'm familiar with the gym and workouts etc. but I'm wondering if there's any peptides, supplements, diets etc. that you reckon will assist me, cheers

Eh, basically eat a lot of protein (not just from red meat! It's healthier to get multiple sources e.g. cheese, fish, oats, nuts & seeds, eggs) and make sure the meals before and after a workout both have a decent amount of carbs and protein (your muscles need fresh carbs to grow, burned-off fat does not become muscle).

Eat a lot of food. Lift 5x5 65-75 percent of your one rep max. Don't eat within 4 hours of sleeping. Sleep 8 hours a night. The 8 hours of sleep is super important.

Eat big, and weigh your food and track every calorie to make sure you actually are eating big

Skinny people always massively overestimate how much they eat, they'll describe stuffing their faces like a pig every single day when they're literally having 2 chicken breasts and 2 bags of rice the entire day. Work out your TDEE and go 500 over. If you're still not gaining weight you counted wrong, so add more calories. You need to do this consistently too, you can't just eat big 2 days and then to back to eating like a rabbit for the remainder of the week, it has to be every single day

If you're struggling with appetite then look for easier ways to get calories in such as protein shakes with whole milk. Small but frequent meals throughout the day tend to be easier to get down than just two really big ones

yeah it's not ideal and yeah you'll gain a shit ratio of muscle to fat, but it will get that stupid idea out of your heads that you can't gain weight and prove that you're not special and a calorie surplus does work on you
