The real question is:
Why do people pay a subscription to share something with others when they could just have that thing in their own home for the price of the annual subscrition or cheaper?
Crazy to me from renting vs buying with a mortgage, to having a home gym vs going to a public one, it is always cheaper to own things rather than rent. So why do normie cattle prefer to be serfs?

Then why don't you just own proper equipment (barbells and plates) instead of using meme apparatus built for women?

i dont go to gym or pay for anything (calicuck), but still end up standing and looking like this, while I waiting for someone to free up the parallel dip bars. the simple truth is that there are too many people trying to get /fit/ and so zillions must die

A guy hogs the chest press at my gym. He has zero urgency and pisses about on his phone for long periods. However, I got him to leave early the other day by making cat noises. Each time he extended his arms I meowed. I guess I must have put him off his rhythm and he left. It's crazy that I must resort to such childish antics to get someone to be more self-aware.

My membership over lifetime would unironically cost me less than making my own home gym because in my shithole gym owners are in on it with equipment vendors and jack up the prices on purpose. Even getting decent weights and a bar is impossible, i want to look into chinesium but i fear for my safety

the more shit you own, the more of a slave you are. you buy a house and a nigger moves in next to you but you can't move. you buy a pet and now you have to take time out of your day to take it to the vet and feed it even when you're not in the mood. you buy a car and now you need parking, gas, maintenance, registration, etc. is being forced to do those things sound like freedom to you?

Because a fully equipped home gym with rack, barbell, 400lbs plates, adjustable dumbbells, etc that aren't garbage is like $3k and requires tons of floor space ideally in your own home and not renting. And if you want actual machines or cables or a full set of fixed dumbbells you can multiply that number many times over. God you're fucking retarded.

My gym is full of power racks, benches, all sorts of actually decent machines, huge selection of dumbbells up to 150lbs, etc. they have a deal where you pay $10/mo but can only show up between like 10pm and 6am. I lift at exactly 10pm every other day. I've been going to this gym for 4 years. So that's $120 per year for 4 years, or $480 I've paid to be a member of this gym.
If I could buy a power rack, squat/ohp/deadlift/benching bar, shitload of olympic plates, decent rack of dumbbells, some curl bars, a bench, several decent cable machines, etc. for $480 I would. That would cost me like $2,000 minimum. Like sure after 20 years at the gym I guess I could have just bought my own stuff and used it the whole time, but that seems awfully inconvenient. Also it's not crowded enough at 10pm for anyone to ever have to wait to use something.

All of the poor low IQ retards responding to this post, assuming they have to pay full price for equipment and only taking into account a year or two of membership cost and not their entire fucking lifetime of no subscription costs
Keep sharing your workout equipment with jeets and fatties, at least you'll feel smarter by comparison

Floor space is the real problem. Most people could probably summon the money to buy home gym equipment, but most American homes just don’t have the space to house it. And forget about trying to move heavy shit into a basement, especially on older basement, what a bitch.
>sharing with jeets and fatties
Not necessarily. You just have to pay for a much better gym and 99% of them disappear.

Yeah, but there's still that one fucktard who spends two hours on a machine.
I am a power shitter who trains at Crunch a lot, just a few days ago I walked into the gym and noticed two black women on the hip thrust machine. Needless to say as I finish my workout two hours later, the same two women are doing hip thrust.
It actually has me in shock, that people seriously do 15+ sets of the same exercise for a workout.
