Artistic reconstruction of an interior courtyard garden in an Aztec palace in the city of Chalco, by Scott and Stuart Gentling (rights held by the Amon Carter Museum)

The specific structure here is hypothetical but is based on surviving ruins from sites like the House of the Eagles from Tenochtitlan, various Teotihuacano residences (Teotihuacan wasn't Aztec but they took architectural and artistic inspiration from the site), and possibly also palaces at Chimalhuacan, Cihuatecpan, Mitla, the Casa de la Cacica, and pages from the Codex Mendoza.

The bench is based on examples in various manuscripts like the Borgia and Borbonicus, as does the battlements and roof trim accenting on the architecture, while the bottom moulding accents are based on designs from ceramic stamps and some manuscripts. The bird and tree mural is based on either Teotihuacano or Aztec designs (I have sadly lost the exact potential things they draw from), while the cereamics and braziers are drawn from real surviving specimens.

Surprisingly annoying place to work in because the ceiling constantly leaked and left the carpet soggy.

Anybody got any supermarkets from 1990 to 2005? There was a specific way they arranged the aisle end caps that I find pleasing.

thats a nice picture. Soft colors. Boken. I can even smell the lingering perfume of someone. Light scent of an exotic flower, mnissed with the smell of stale air, dust, and, reminds me of a bookstore, now a cell phone att store. I remember going on a date to a bookstore, That was the "date". A book store. Seriously, a true story. THe guy running the bookstore was holding on finacially to make this store work. I remember getting some herbal tea and cookies and no joke, the guy serving the tea was picking his nose, behind the counter.

Amyone else make calenders with any images here or on other boards. June for example is national donut month. I'll add what i found, and link the site i use to create the calender. June this year is a solar event, and with the NASA stuff going on, well maybe some space related thing. Or the sun is in shape of a donut. Or a hot girl, making a flour and sugar mess in the kitchen; and on on her clothing.
