Bob Ross never said that you lying asshole. If I met you in real life, I'd find and tell your mother about your attempts to deceive people over the internet, perhaps over a pasta dinner, before taking her home and plowing her.

You wanna get more real then that? Why bother with fucking Draw a Box when you can just get a book about drawing perspective? I get that for a complete fucking noob the point is to look for free tutorials but if you somehow made your way to /ic/ then theres plenty of books on perspective that get the same fucking gist across AND THEN SOME
Honestly I get anons not wanting to go to college but just talk with any professor, even the most stereotypical hard ass professor you can think of wont teach in such a mindless unflexible manner. To a complete noob it may sound like some sort of secret method but its fucking trite

I agree. I hate how many people on this site are slandering one of the good internet art teachers out there in the art community. Like, if you do not want to do the 250 box challenge then don't do it or do it if you want to. He didn't said that you must complete 250 boxes before heading over to lesson 2. It's more like a recommendation before lesson 2. Key word: recommendation. Now, if one of you people are going to complain about doing the 250 box challenge. My advice is that you're probably not doing it correctly. The key part of the exercise is to focus and try to do the exercises in the challenge as mindful as you can. It's all about the technique, you'll figure out some once you get enough feedback from the dab community and rereading the info about the challenge that you have to do. The reading comprehension from these haters are astonishingly low.
