hmm I almost agree but elevate JRJR to good if not high tier. Mezieres and Cooke to high tier. Frazetta didn't draw many comics or many great comics but he's probably my favourite illustrator of all time so I'll allow it.
Frank Miller is God Tier in my world.

pretty sure you can buy Hal Foster stamps here, although we don't invest in our Postal Service.

This is based on what exactly? A lot of the list would change if your criteria includes their composition and panel work and it's not fair to others because of their predominantly comic strip format. Toddfather is always No.1, baby. A number those in Low, OK and Good should be moved 1 or 2 slots higher. Also, Darwyn > Bruce. Always.
Missing Hal Foster, Bernie Wrightson, Steve Rude, Alex Toth and Glenn Fabry.

God Tier or High Tier should also include Wally Wood and Sean Gordon Murphy as well. Sean's stuff on Batman White Knight was stylistically excellent and Wallace Wood draws some of my favorite comic book style women.

Personally, I love his character designs and how striking his panels are. He has had such a big influence on superhero comics that he pretty much defined that art style for years. His artwork must be viewed in the context of the era. Back then, he was the only one drawing like that.

It was considered trash back then, it's only now that people have started pretending like mass produce formulated comic illustration have a lot of artistic merit.
His panels are super basic, I've seen much more creative paneling that predate kirby's by decades

I agree that slop intended for children and teenagers doesn't need to look good but cool
I do understand it, I just think these types of American speed slop comics are a low form of art with low standards
I do understand why kids like my little pony and I also understand why some adults do but just because some adults think it's a masterpiece and I don't doesn't make my opinion less valid.
The vastajority of people see stuff like this as nothing but slop for children and manchildren

It must be admitted that those times will hardly return, seeing guys in suits drawing on a table full of artistic materials to deliver the work on time to the publisher, even in Japan the traditional format is in decline.
