Sigh
Since nobody else is saying it, I guess you were told to do that by someone who had the idea you should just copy stuff until you get comfortable with basic mark-making. Now, maybe you're ready to take on someone like Andrew Loomis who will tell you how to make your own stuff.
Or you can move on to drawing stuff from real life and photos (really should do both this and Loomis)

what does it mean to actually study one that you don't get from just copying it?
>>
Congrats, you fell for the "just study and copy" meme and now you can't draw anything original, which is a completely separate skill

Always, always draw your own original work, no matter how bad you are
>>
>>7930153
Now try to draw what you would like

I'm not good enough for that though

>I only like about 3 pieces of art, so yeah, you could say I'm pretty passionate about art
Why did you even want to draw if there's so little art that you like?

fucking nodraw thread

Copying is for practicing observation which is what a /beg/ needs first.
Studying means to break it down into simple shapes/forms so you can actually redraw it without a reference (which requires observational drawing as a prerequisite).

now you start making art you like buddy. that's literally the end goal
