what type of brush should I use in order to get soft looking sketches/lineart like picrel in krita?

So theres this artist game dev I follow (https://x.com/Doubled_dbld) and I really like the way their art looks, but I'm not sure how to replicate the lineart in their sketches into my own art. It looks very soft but the brush I use is the default (basic-5 size) since I'm pretty inexperienced with drawing on a drawing tablet and don't know how to emulate in krita since the they said their brush is a a custom sai brush.

I've thought about making the brush bigger and opacity lower, but I'm not sure that would work. Any tips?

Just lower the opacity on the brush. There’s very little you can’t accomplish with a hard round brush.

Another. Not the same artist but still has the look I want.

that's just the basic-2 opacity/basic-3 flow brushes in the digital category of brushes. also, try a soft round with size and opacity or flow pressure settings.
speaking of krita, does anyone else experience this obnoxious lag after selecting a color with the color picker? there's always a 1 or 2 second delay before i can do anything after using the color picker. i like krita and it's mission a lot, but this is just the one thing that kills the entire program for me.

The key to creating this kind of brush is to have a low flow but constant opacity. If you were to just use low opacity, it would have a more hard edged look. (Note how the line gets darker in at the inner corner where it sharply bends in the loop of the girl's hair bow. That's a tell that flow, not opacity is the variable at play here.) Also, a slightly soft brush tip, and a size that is mostly constant with pressure, but not completely.

Here's my attempt at recreating the brush in Krita: https://files.catbox.moe/8g6j93.bundle
