Why are MikuExpo tickets still so expensive. I missed the initial sale because I hadn't gotten paid yet and now the tickets are like 300-400 dollars. Last time, I think I only spent like 60 and even reseller last minute tickets when I checked to see if I could get a better seat were like 50

Ahh, so smol and cute! I had to bend her hair a little to make her sit flat, but damn that's a cute pose. I wish there was more figures like this.

Funny placeholder antennas. I don't think I have seen anything like that before.

So elegant. I really like this thick, layered dress. Symphonia figures really have that high class feel to them.
Also it's kind of impressive and worrying that all this mass is resting on her thin ankle with no extra supports. I have to be careful with this fig.

Nice I really like the snow one, do you only put one on each layer?
>>

>do you only put one on each layer?
No, that's just for the photo. I don't really have luxury of that much space. And they would look lonely if they were so isolated.

cool benches for the sitting ones
>>
everyone ITT should have at least 1 cup noodle and a bratty miku to sit on it
>>
I'm starting to think that I need to get an actual case for my figurines. Most of the ones I have are cheaper prize ones, but I still like them and I would hate to damage them.
>>
>>50722870
Not him but you can buy acrylic risers basically anywhere, but the best deals I've gotten on them were at my local Daiso for like 2 dollars. Amazon is a bit pricier.
>>50722903
Do you mean enclosed shelving? That really only protects against dust. I don't use enclosed shelving for anything I own out of my own aesthetic preference.
>>
>>50722929
I want to protect against sunlight. I almost never have sunlight directly hit my figurines except when I take them out, and that's not for prolonged amounts of time, but I still want them to last.
>>
>>50722870
Yeah. I really like these sitting figures. I got these raisers for few bucks from local online store and they look much better than random boxes. Nicely fit the glass case aesthetics.

>>50722903
Glass cases dramatically reduce amount of dust that collects on your figs. If you have or plan to have couple of them, they can save you a lot of hassle. Also figures look nice in them if you mount some lighting.
>>
>>50722950
Are there glass cases that can protect from sunlight/other UV lights?
>>
>>50722942
A translucent case will not protect against direct sunlight. I have one east facing window in the room with my figures and I keep the blinds closed.
>>50722950
I actually do use LED lighting that I got from IKEA on my open shelving. I think I bought it around 2021 and still running in 2026 always on. The dust is the killer, but I only use the room for display, so it gathers less dust than a high use room.
>>
>>50722984
You're just not supposed to display that kind of stuff in direct sunlight if you care.
>>
curtains don't block UV light btw
>>
I keep my figures in lead safe just to be safe.
>>

>>50722991
Does UV blocking film for windows work?
>>
>>50723098
Read the specification of that film and cross check against the kind of UV you want to block.
Window glass blocks some UV, that's why you don't get tan while sitting indoors, but some frequencies get through.

You'll see the prices collapse again when a bunch of babies freak that it's a screen again.
>>
>read recent posts
>realize I don't have to worry about any of that because my room doesn't get sunlight at all
I'm not sure how to feel about that.

Just close your windows with the blinds and never open them
