Should I buy another 92? Thinking on an M9A4 or LTT. Asked this in the last thread but I'll ask again. Anyone have experience buying guns from LTT? I have seen many, many posts in comments of YouTube videos says their customer service is just awful with them blaming the customer for any problems with the guns
>>
>>
>>64915936
That one video about px4 basically lays out the whole story. They take stock gun, don't test it, mod it, and ship. If gun was originally a lemon by Beretta, it remains one. If you start with your own gun, you can make sure it works before custom work is done to it.
>>
>>64915936
I have purchased 3 brand new LTTs, one PX4, one USP and one 1301, used I have bought 2 more, a 92 and PX4. No issues. I have bought a few TJIABs and other parts. No issues with them.
CS wise, they have been okay. I have complained about the amount of locktite/threadlocker they use and they just give me crap about “PMS” but when a big YouTuber says the same thing they say “so sorry we will update our assembly instructions”. One time getting a slide optic cut took 12 weeks but the next time I got a cut I sent in two slides at once and they had them back to me in 3 weeks. One anon who’s cursed and has problems, they eventually fixed them all after some back and forth. They don’t give you free shit or tumble over themselves to make everything better than right.
Some of the more common complaints I’ve seen is HKfags complaining about the Cerakote, scratches, and the optic plate leaving a tiny gap showing light underneath it.
>>64916041
This is fair. Though I wouldn’t expect lemons from beretta but I’m a beretta fag

Recently watched two video by this guy:
https://youtu.be/DSSGYpm5Myk?si=rN1nt4JRsMMmWvGa
https://youtu.be/wq_kWpEWZK4?si=MkKLM92pGw9XpiDG
tldw; had some problems with the guns, contacted LTT, but didn't get their return email so the 2nd video was a retraction in that part. But in the comments of the second video are a lot of complaints on their CS which is kinda turning me away from them

So I just discovered that my G26 Gen 5 holster can fit not only the other bigger Gen 5 guns, but also a Gen 4.
This is kind of a big deal since it means I can kind of save a lot of money and space with holsters

Forgot to mention but there’s an extended grip for the PPK too. Get the x grip adapter for PPK and you can use a PPKS grip to give your 380 7+1
I tried and can confirm it works just fine. I use it to bump my 380 to 32 levels of capacity.
>>64915411
>ppks are notorious for behing dogshit to shoot in .380
I have the 380 and 32 and 380 is perfectly fine with semi hot fiocchi.
Anyone who thinks the 380 PPK hurts or is hard to run either needs a stronger recoil spring or they’re a sissy onions consuming troglodyte
>>64916221
Yeah basically
And if you have a flat mag it’s extremely pocketable and cellphone sized. ESP because it’s thin. I tried, flat mag config is basically a longer LCP

Thanks, I didn't even know about the extender. I've relegated the PPK to pocket carry for the house, I don't know ow what that other anon is on about but shooting the PPK in 380 is pleasant, it handles quite well IMO.
>>
I've seen multiple times people here mention using 380 compensated barrels in modern recoil operated designs, as something normal and beneficial. So you should not be surprised that same people will also consider straight blowback design outdated dogshit.

Be sure to use the flat base mecgar PPKS mags if you buy the extender. I didn’t for the 32 since WW2 German are a little smaller than modern PPK so it’s proper minmax is concealment.
Tbh the kick between 380 and +p32 is almost the same. True I have an 17lb spring on the 380 and 15 on the 32 but that gives you an idea of the relative snap.
>>64917062
> worse than 38 in a 12 oz j frame
Either your spring is like 12 lbs, you’re shooting buffalo bore out of a blowback too small for that kind of charge, your hands are too big to get proper purchase, or you’re a wimp.
I’m a little guy and it never bothered me. 380 PPK snap is moderate.

Is there anything more cucked than shooting at an indoor range? When I was zeroing a pistol red dot once, I had someone ask me if I was a professional competition shooter. Static lane outdoor ranges are cucked too. I was once zeroing an LPVO at one and someone again asked me if I did that "professionally" whatever the fuck that means. It's crazy to me that for most people, those are their only experiences with shooting.

Speer Gold Dot and Hornady XTP have different constructions and different performance as they’re intended for different purposes. Gold Dot is intended to expand as rapidly and largely as possible, and has a relatively thinner jacket that is bonded to the lead core and a big, deep cup. XTP is meant to penetrate deeply while still opening reliably and as such has a thicker jacket and shallower cup. Gold Dot is meant for shooting people, and XTP is meant for shooting animals. That’s why you’ll usually see Gold Dot in .44 Special form these days, although they did used to make a .44 Magnum Gold Dot load that was very light by Magnum standards. If you check other available people-shooting JHP .44 Magnum loads that are available, such as Federal’s Hydra-Shok or HST, you’ll find that they also are not loaded very hot. Factory ammo with XTPs, A-Frames, XPBs, etc. as their projectile are usually loaded hotter.

>>64918580
You get used to it. Rubber grips definitely help a lot. For wood, the shape of the grip, particularly where the web of your thumb wraps around the backstrap, matters more than anything. Brand new S&W Model 29s come with these thin Altamont-style piece of shit grips that suck ass and have this stupid hard edge right where your thumb goes. Whoever approved for those needs to be subjected to an all-day shooting session with those grips and Buffalo Bore/Underwood loads. If you buy one, replace the OEM shitters with a set of original S&W target grips with the speedloader cutout and never look back. If you have a round-butt gun, such as a newer-production Model 629, you can put on the X-frame Hogue Tamer wraparound grips that give you a bigass cushion pad over the backstrap which is very nice, albeit bulky.

i have one i bought last year thought it was pretty nice except for a few sharp unfinished edges i had to file off. significantly better build quality than the one i handled back in the 2010s.
that said if you havent bought it and want to shoot cartridges buy the uberti replica gun that takes cartridges from the factory.
it will come out cheaper. the barrel will actually have the correct size and twist rate for modern ammo. you can shoot any normal bullets instead of having to buy specific cowboy loads.
the factory conversions are easier to reload they have loading gates.
the only positive of the conversion vs a factory gun is that you are a felon who cant buy it from a ffl.
black powder is great if you want it to fuck around with blackpowder its fun. but dont delude yourself with converting it.

I like all types of calibers, 32, 380, 45
Also owning both types I can say the huge PPK recoil difference is a meme unless your 32 is way too weak and your 380 buffalo bore. It’s just really do you want to trade a bullet for slightly more power and cheaper rounds?
>underpowered
The ftlbs of Buffalo bore is 180ftlbs and flat nose leaves a good track. It’s likely biting as much as ball kurz but with less deflection
>>64917432

+P HSTs (147gr for me) are my fave. Shoots good, feeds good, not much more recoil impulse out of a full-size pistol than 115gr standard-pressure FMJs. Heard a lot of good things from Gold Dots, Ranger Ts, and Hornady offerings, too. All that shit works with basically anything, no questions asked.

>Any advice on how to choose a shoulder holster?
I'm a shoulder holster autist. This is what I've learned.
>holster
You want a pivoting or breakthrough design. You get the no-flagging of vertical carry and the easier draw of horizontal carry. Best of both worlds.
>spare ammo carrier
Mandatory. Not only is it convenient, but it balances out the weight of the gun, making it easier to wear long term.
>harness
Your harness should have an additional horizontal strap that goes across the lower back. Helps distribute the weight and prevents printing if you bend or lean over. Also obviates the need for belt tie-downs, which are gay. Most shoulder holsters don't come with the horizontal strap, but it's the easiest part to DIY. You just need any old belt or strap and you often can use the existing belt loops or tie-downs it comes with.

Lasers on pistols mostly suck. They give away your position if it's bright enough to see, and lots of times they won't be bright enough to see. They're used on rifles because they are higher power there and IR lasers give you advantage over opponents not as geared up as you. Otherwise same issue.

Shot my Glock 19.6 for the first time this morning. Out of fifty rounds I missed my grouping twice. I fucking love this thing. EXCEPT the slide isn't locking to the rear after the mag is empty. One of the three included mags will operate as expected, but the others do not. I've got them all packed with 9mm rounds and in my gun safe., hopefully compressing the mag springs outside of my range time.

I shoot mostly at 10m, and at that distance I have difficulty seeing new hits sometimes with .22 or 9mm unless the target is pretty fresh. At 25m I can't keep track of shit after the first few magazine or so. And I have 20/20 vision. I use adhesive splash targets I buy on amazon, what kind of targets are you using that you can track your hits at 25yd? Or are you magnifying? (I don't bring my spotting scope to the pistol range).

Still I always appreciate the grip tips. I was practicing that today, actually, to make sure the barrel isn't jerking around when I break the "glass wall"
>>
>>64922190
It can feel kind of weird at first because you want your dominant hand high and tight on the grip but if you're thumbs forward they'll be parallel to the slide lock. There's a little dip below the slide (you can see it on the Glock pictures above) that can serve as a thumb rest.
>>
>>64921743

Taking a look at Falco, Craft, and Galco it looks like nice vertical/roto holsters with magazine pouches would run me a couple hundred, which is steep enough where I don't want to make a "bad" decision.

Gripping it rn (lol) unloaded and you're right. Every time I'd break a shot at the range I'd choke up on the grip till the top of my palms hits the beaver tail. It doesn't seem like it's meant to be gripped this way as it fucks up my thumb positioning when I adjust to get higher up

I'm giving a poor noguns frien a good price and kinda just wanted to try something new. I liked the shield overall aside from it being snappy. The size was also a plus as my climate requires dressing lightly

I recently purchased a RIA 1911A1 on a good sale and beyond getting a couple Wilson Combat mags, swapping the grips and painting the front sight it’s a bone stock gun. I have nothing to compare it to, but is it worth swapping some of the parts like the trigger, hammer, sear, springs, extractor, disconnect and slide stop? Or should I just leave it alone and get good with it as it is? Pic rel

Why sell it?
Just keep it as a part of your rotation.
If you still insist on selling and replacing it I would say a Glock 26 is your best bet, followed by a P365.
I also like J-Frames but I understand that they're not for everybody

>only positive of the conversion vs a factory gun is that you are a felon
NTA but metallic cases do not meet the definition of an antique firearm under 18 USC § 921(a)(16) so there would be no point in a felon converting a cap and ball revolver instead of 3D printing a lower for an automatic pistol

>how it works balistically
Penetrating soft armour that just so happens to be in the same room as you but that's a niche POU bordering on LARP

So that's why they're paranoid about the development of gynoids

They're both mall ninja bullshit, get a pistol optic

>IR lasers give you advantage over opponents not as geared up as you
So a mil or LE niche

Understandable. The Shield Plus is hard to beat but I am going to recommend a dark horse and say look into the IWI Masada Slim.

If that whore saw you saying this her pussy would be drier than the Sahara. Simps are fucking disgusting, lower than even incels.

Well like I said, 5.7 is neat for having at least 9mm power but with more capacity and less recoil.
The big filter is the price of the ammo but at least you have plenty of options of guns outside of FN.
I just simply picked the FN because it was iconic and on sale.
