They should put the AGDS into serial production. There are enough mothballed Abrams hulls to build hundreds, thousands even. AA has improved since the 1996 proposal and now could include better sensors, twin 50mms and a compact laser.

35mm Bushmaster can be upgraded to 50mm Supershot with just a barrel swap and a few other simple parts. It's just flat sided 35mm with no necking. Same round footprint diameter in loading and ammo storage.

Apparently those aren't missile but tubes holding metal-storm munitions. Basically a bunch of metal storm launchers fitted together to saturate the fuck out of anything it targets. Would be quite brutal.
