It's decent, gives you some historical context and hebrew language stuff that's useful. His atheism is evident and I assume there must be a less cynical and more informative one out there you could read, but this works in a pinch.
>>25321156 Unironically good. "Asimov" wrote a giant useful guide to the bible and managed to remain neutral throughout. My dad is a devote Catholic and really sticks to his lane of books to read, but he was really impressed with this book.
