What are your praises and criticisms on Zeztz's first half now?

so I might be going to Japan this coming October, any recommendations of places where I could find Kamen Rider stuff like figuarts? I'm pondering on getting a CSM of Faiz or from some other show, but honestly I don't know what I'd do with a belt.

To be honest I'm surprised they revealed the dream thing already. I figured it would be closer to the back half of the show, like in the 30s.

Over half of the 7 Reiwa shows so far have at least one of these twists. The one about the good guy org being secretly evil in particular happened 3 times in a row.

3 years sounds like a long time, but these shows run for a whole year, which means there was only a gap of 2 shows before they repeated it again, and the one who did it was the writer of the last show that had those kinds of twists as well.

Not from the very beginning though, Nox only started saying CODE was bad around the time he got the Lord Invoker, and they weren't proven to be actually evil until later, so it still counts as a plot twist as predictable as it might be (because it's so fucking overdone). The other shows also hinted their organizations were shady as early as Q1 too.

Can we admit that Kamen Rider's quality hinges on having four and more riders, as seen with Ryuki, Gaim, Ex-Aid, etc...?
Because as seen with ZEZTZ and Wizard, the old idea of having two or less riders has no longer worked since Showa ended and producers should give up on it.
It's no secret around that Sentai is more beloved than Rider on average, especially in Japan, precisely because it has 5 and more heroes that bounce each other off well.

It hinges on having a good staff that actually sinergize with each other and not having outside circumstances screwing them over
Sentai isn't more beloved in Japan nor here than Rider but Sentai is indeed more consistent in quality than Rider because it's less ambitious/experimental most of the time so it's easier to get everyone on the same page with less room for error, but not being experimental goes against Kamen Rider's image, Rider, Metal Heroes and Fushigi Comedy are franchises made on the ideal of taking risks in storytelling but not in the toys.

I don't think that having 4 or more Riders necessarily makes a show better, but it is an easy way to make the story more exciting and interesting since the characters who transform into Riders tend to have strong personalities and clashing viewpoints, and just by virtue of being Riders they can do more than the average civilian character. It is harder to make a show with a low amount of Riders interesting and entertaining, since there has to be more effort put into the civilians' writing to make them stand out.

Zeztz basically has 6 Riders, they just don't call half of them Riders, and the only one the show really lets us get attached to is Baku, which alongside the mostly unremarkable civilian cast makes up for one of the show's major problems.

It's called Tategami Hyoujuu Senki, and yeah, it was cool to see all the creative and smart ways in which Rintaro used his ice powers. The ice wings with icicle funnels in particular were rad as hell.

I don't know if it was because ADK, a marketing company that that works with Bandai and Toei a lot, got acquired by Koreans but it seems like Bandai is trying to try to go as independent as possible and trying to acquire most of their shares from shareholders but also handling shares to them to Sony to prevent Koreans from buying them, kinda like how Kadokawa sold shares from them to Sony so that Korean companies didn't become a majority shareholder:
