Right before sleeping in bed it can sometimes work nicely when you close your eyes and then imagine strolling around Baltimare. The more you focus on it the better it can distract you from worrying thoughts that keep you awake.
I also tried imagine doing things that aren't possible there. For example imagined a tunnel where the home point is near the stadium. That tunnel lead to Cloudsdale but I swiftly returned because I didn't want to get captured/abducted.

Anyone else doing stuff like that to help falling asleep?

I will note, as Cinemare's wrangler, I do not have an extra pc laying around to run her off of, so the reason for her infrequent streaming since Camarea has been back fulltime is because I can't well justify the use while I try to utilize my pc as normal. I ran her as much as possible during times Camarea wasn't around because I didn't want ponies to lose BaltTV, and it was painful for me to try doing what I do(art/3D rendering/gaming) while having a viewer open utilizing resources, on top of the resources used by streaming. Sometime in the future I might maybe perchance be able to justify an additional pc setup to run Cinemare off and at that point I would love to run her fulltime so we can have two camerapopens for the stream at all times(like we used to when wolvan ran the first Camarea). I do really like being able to provide something like this for the community even when it is not reasonably feasible for me..

I've noticed there's an increase in sound stealing happening in the place.
What I mean is that if there are many sounds playing at any given time they can get cancelled by a new sound getting triggered.
So for example if there are too many sounds playing and the piano happens to be playing too, someone getting their ass slapped can suddenly make the piano go "muted" until its next sound file starts 10/30 seconds later.

As far as I know SL viewer only support up to 30 sounds playing at the same time (including interface clickies) which isn't a whole lot.
So it makes sense to thoughtful when dropping items that permanently play sounds. If there are too many then shit will keep cancelling each other out in a complete mess.

I wanted to make a kirin for Chinese New Year. Some time ago I got recommended The Wooly Pig's Kirin mod:

I had money to burn so I got the fatpack... and ran into problems:

- the tail and hooves complain that the OP body is still at 1.3 despite being at 1.6.X
- using the included skin applier will color the body as advertised but also cause the distorted human form to appear, and this is with green BOM enabled and using the included BOM skin
- cycling through BOM modes will just uncolor the kirin

Maybe I'm doing something wrong or the mod is screwed. Anyone got ideas?

I'm probably not much of a help but in my case I stopped caring about bom and all the shit right away and pretty much always just copy my current pony (or use a fresh one), pick textures from the folder and do all the edits manually without relying on scripts and all that shit. If there's a body texture I just select the body surfaces and apply the texture there.
Same with eyes. I just dig through the shells and then select the iris surface and edit it.

It is time consuming but in the end for me way less aggravating than having to deal with retarded nonfunctioning scripts.

Considering they're more or less passive service ponies it's interesting how our camera mares are building lore.

Her video quality is great and only her FPS can occasionally get a bit choppy but on average are somewhere in the mid 10s which gives her broadcast a really nice cartoony feel. The constant punting, enduring DUAL-sim restarts with no exit plan, explosions to the face, getting punted into ponds, falling from great heights (and crash landing with no parachute) and general degeneracy up close made her quite jaded and walleyed. To have enough energy to endure it all (and build fat deposits to dampen the punting impacts) she consumes a lot of fastfood which the local ponies gladly provide free of charge.

>Cinemare: The pretty apprentice. At this moment it's still not clear if she's carrying the huge ass incredibly old camera for style or if the others are fucking with her to make the apprentice's job more difficult. Despite taking on a difficult job like this under such circumstances she's doing her best as second mobile camera mare and it shows. Incredibly fluid broadcast on seemingly max settings with occasional sniper zooms. Her first first assignment was to function as a stand-in for Camarea2 when she was recovering from a bad fall. At this point it's not clear yet if she'll take on the job permanently, the apprenticeship is still ongoing.
