Thursday bump! I particularly enjoy finding flora growing in caves. 90% of the time it's fungal growth on feces or something dead. Every once in a while, though, I'll find a pale plant growing up from hydrated sand/soil. It's fascinating to see plants and fungi that exist outside of photosynthesis!

The pre-caving trip insomnia is running strong /moon/bros. It's going to be a full 8 hours in-cave at the same spot I was at last weekend, with 2 hours to get to the property and 2 hours back. It'll just be the skeleton crew this time, so at least I'll have another nice day to spend underground with Luna. We might as well have the whole cave all to ourselves!

It is our hope that the weather will hold out. We are told that there could be some light rain and heavy wind, which would make things less than ideal inside of the cave. At least it's not a flood risk, bad weather just means that it'll be a little bit colder than normal.

Nah, the little guy was just trying to hibernate through the cold temps. We try to disturb them as little as possible, although the bright lights from photo documentation and the sounds of us traveling can sometimes wake them up.

Fun fact! Bats often excrete waste whenever they take flight! If you shine your light up at the ceiling with a large cluster of bats, you will begin to see many small sparkles fall through the air as the baps detach from their clutches and proceed to piss and shit all over you! Better squint those eyes and pull up your balaclava if your camera is helmet mounted and you have to look up to get proper shots!

Dude. You've got to be at least 18 to post here. Since you couldn't do a quick Google search, I'll spoon feed you. Ms. Frizzle is a school teacher character from a TV show called The Magic School Bus. The Magic School Bus was frequently shown to elementary kids as a way for the teacher to get through a hangover/have an easy day.

Each episode featured a field trip led by Ms. Frizzle in a sentient school bus powered by magic. In one of those episodes, the class goes into the bus and shrinks down to investigate what is causing one of their classmates to be sick. This is what >>43059517 parodied in their brief green text.

The show was a way to introduce scientific topics to children. Similar to Bill Nye the Science Guy, but in an animated fashion. Shows like these were often played on a large CRT television mounted on a tall stand that had to be wheeled into the classroom when it was time for use. Yeah, I did watch G1 when I was a kid, along with He-man, ThunderCats, TMNT, Gumby (the old claymation series), Legend of Zelda cartoon, and so many other great ones. Tried the meditation/projection guide, almost succeeded. Had a brief moment where it felt like I was "falling through space". I could tell I was getting close, but I pulled out a bit early.
Some very light visuals, nothing concrete.
Two biggest things that seem to be hindering me right now are anxiety, excitement and my leg falling asleep. Think if I extend the meditation, I'll succeed within a week maybe.
