>They're dicks to everyone
No they aren't, this is how the real world works.
They make money by finding exploits and then get paid to keep them quiet. These are called "Bug Bounties"
When they make a bug bounty, and the affected company doesn't pay and instead patches it and tells them to fuck off- They get to do whatever they want with the bugs they ALSO found that they didn't report.
So repeat after me:
You get what you FUCKING deserve

The internet ID assholes have enough leaks already. They already were the ones behind the 1 Billion ID leak that Discord had a few months ago.
The problem is those companies don't care about your data, they would never pay them to keep it quiet. Hacking the education system and leaking confidential student information may actually land someone at the Department of Education in jail. Especially if it turns out negligence is how they got this leak.

>Has this internet ID shit been stopped?
It never will be. It's not to make you safer.

We get inconvenienced by lots of middlemen, like aforementioned ID verification laws. These are just more middlemen fighting. It wouldn't be any different to the end result if they sued them.
Giant asshole corporations deserve to suffer.

>Oh, alright, better just give up then.
It's not that, these hacker groups will never go after these ID corporations because they are effectively above the law. They are already violating dozens of laws, so why would they care if user information is leaked? Some of their CEOs like Thiel are directly related to the child rape and snuff island. Blackmailing them doesn't exactly work.

It’s a software most colleges and universities in the United States use to run their online classes or online portions of on ground classes. And like all modern software it’s real purpose is data harvesting so all these students had to put in their dob, Ss number, and contact information for what is basically just a message board with their classmates and a way to email their teacher homework.
