>>2862703 I mean... Why though? Unless you're hunting, it's kind of pointless. Yes, it can be beautiful, yes it can be a valuable teaching tool if you're ever stranded. I've done it when I was younger, and there's just nothing there for me. But hey. You do you, pal.
>>2862703 it depends where you live in australia it just means that you like avoiding tourists and like looking at stars in siberia it probably means youre suicidal
>>2862729 >its kind of pointless You want to go out but its winter how is it pointless? If it's cold just put on a coat. It's a different challenge than summer camping and theres no bugs.
>>2862912 >>2862916 In the spring through fall you can: >swim >water sports >fishing >foraging >bushcraft >mushroom hunting >gardening >hunting >bird/animal watching >exist comfortably
There's not much to do in winter, boys. Granted there's some cross over of the categories, but overall it's not as fun or interesting. It's the comfy season. The time you sit in front of the fireplace and read, or have parties with your family.
>>2862939 Have parties outside in the snow around a fire. Hike with snow shoes and camp. You can throw you're self off cliffs into snow banks. Anon learn how to stop worrying and love the snow.
>>2862939>swim >water sports >fishing - Also can be done in winter >foraging - Also can be done in winter >bushcraft - Also can be done in winter >mushroom hunting >gardening >hunting - Also can be done in winter >bird/animal watching - Also can be done in winter >exist comfortably - Also can be done in winter without bugs....or people. Winter camping is best if you can hack it.
>>2862703 Most of this board doesn't go outside. Camping is a foreign concept, let alone something that might vaguely involve discomfort, like winter camping.
