>>2864859 Driver - Cobra Darkspeed X 3W - Wilson D100 5W - Nike Vaporfly 2H - Wilson D100 4-PW - Mizuno MP-52 56 - Callaway Jaws 60 - Wilson, can't remember the name but it was that cheap one Putter - Odyssey 2ball Blade
I get most my stuff second hand because I'm not paying full price for stuff made in China. I keep a 2H and a 5W because I can't really hit fairway woods on the grass yet. Surprisingly my 4i is really handy on the course, I rarely fall short with it. Haven't tried the 3i on the course still
>>2864859 Haven't they relentlessly fucked with the degree of loft in each "wood" and "iron" over the decades? Seems better to list skinny or fat clubhead and degree of loft.
>>2864916 The irons are a 20 year old set that was collecting dust in my stepdad's attic, so I don't even know the degree of the clubs. I just know I can carry 130m with the 7 and than 10 meters more or less when clubbing up or down.
>>2864857 i've never played golf before, but its the only sport i can watch if i'm somewhere like a bar do most fields have a sort of rent-a-club thing or beginner's tutorial if you're starting out? or is that something for upscale places or dedicated centers? i see fields around a few places, but they have basically no advertising of what they do besides what they're called
>>2864964 Yeah courses offer rental clubs for rounds (not for practicing at the range). Just like put a note in if you're booking a time online. You could find an executive 9-hole course too
>>2864964 >>2864977 Depends where you play, every courses I've been to offered to rent (shitty) clubs for the range too. If you want to have a try, you should either book an hour with a teacher or get a friend to show you how to hit the ball
My dad used to take me to the range all the time when I was a kid but I've only played an actual round once in my life
I really enjoy going to the range on my own now as an adult but I still haven't tried playing for real I think I'm really good at hitting balls on the range though
>>2865042 I once got paired with someone similar. Said he was a 54 HCP and this was his first round. He grabbed his driver and sent an absolute ICBM 300m on the green. Turned out he's been doing nothing but hitting his driver on the range for a year. Which explained why he needed 4 putts
>>2865139 >but snacks are ok >and pipes are ok >and weed is ok >and clothes are ok >and fishing is ok >and vagrants are ok >and buildings are ok >and knives are ok >and lara croft is ok >and patches are ok >and nudism is ok >and movies are ok >and frisbees are ok >and rollerblading is ok >and books are ok >BUT GOLF IS OVER THE LINE
Yeah you really did a great job fighting for the purity of this board, dipshit
Cobra can suck my dick. Brand new driver, got it last month, took it to the range 3 times and the screw has rust?? My 2018 Callaway never had a spot and I took it to hell and back. The better send a new one.
>>2865179 Funny thing it's the first ever driver I bought new. I got my previous Callaway (Rogue) for 60€ second hand. Check out European countries for used golf equipment, it's much less trendy than in anglo countries so people just get rid of grandpa's gear sometimes. Pic related I sent to a friend a while back
>>2865182 I need to warn you the Rogue had a senior shaft, so you get surprises sometimes lmao. Also make sure to check for any cracks around the hosel, especially on woods
>model a generic Anser for shit and giggle >Ask quote from some CNC company I saw in an ad >1200€ for one (1) putter There goes my dream of club making
>>2867197 Well it was going ok but then people insisted we couldnt talk about the masters here, only on /sp/, so everyone went back there. At that point why come back? Not enough obsessive autist neets to maintain this thread like the sumo one
