If you want a shitty film camera with "character" just get a 30's late model Kodak Brownie 2 (one NOT made of cardboard!) or any other working lowest end 120 camera. Mine was £2 + postage and looked and smelled like it had spent last 80 years in cold attic. While finder mirrors are corroded and lens bit fuzzy it works fine. The single meniscus lens is surprisingly sharp for what it is.

I've had a lot of fun with the Kodak waterproof disposable.

Agfa's waterproof disposable is quite nice as well.

I actually picked up a cardboard one for 4 euros, cleaned the lenses and glued the mirrors back in place. Fun to use but the cardboard was bending inwards making it near impossible to open and it wasn't very happy with the 120 film spool either.
I still need to develop the film but I got a better box camera for 10 euros in the meantime, one that actually works well with 120 film, a Zeiss Ikon one.
Will probably get some developer tomorrow and get those negatives ready.

With Brownies and other really low end 6x9cm 120 cameras think contact prints (or perhaps a phone screen). A 32" desktop screen does not give justice to the photos.
