In japan out of all the joshi promotions, tjpw probably has one of the biggest fractions of its fanbase be women and I still feel like they're a single digit percentage of the overall total. The timing of this is somewhat suspicious. Either Aniki is putting over Toga as the new friendly girls brawler and then never coming back, or it's just that she's free that date and it doesn't conflict with Senjo. I read that Senjo has a show the same day as Summer Sun Princess so Aniki won't be there.

Aniki probably won't be able to do the Princess Cup again this year either. Maybe for the best if she already won it.

Yea I just finished listening to it. I can tell he was telling the truth that he knew about the show because he knew the time it was taking place lol But yea while they were doing the meet and greet, they wouldnt have had time to make it to the show and do something for 0 hour though Im pretty sure it wouldve just been Miyu anyways which Tony did namedrop. He also said he does more with DDT than TJPW because of their connections with Kenny and Takeshita and Nak.

TPC is far less in scale and schedule to G1 or even Stardom's 5Star events. Considering TPC is still a 1 and done while the other two operate on round robin terms. Aniki not being in the TPC just means more matchups to explore with the TJPW cast which is better to explore in the long run along with the kayfabe. Like how Miyu is a poor TPC performer until she won it in 2023. Funny you bring up Itoh since she hasn't shown up in TPC since 2021 for various reasons.
