Ross is such a wheelman. That 32 car should have run 20th at best and he got em a p9. I almost like it better when cup guys go down to teams like that cuz it really helps them find where they're missing speed. And the sponsorship money Ross brings is a big help for jar.

Alpha Prime exists because Caesar Bacarella bailed out Tommy Joe Martins by buying half the team in 2024, possibly just so he could drive one of the cars at superspeedways. Alpha Prime Supplements is a whey protein and protein dessert company that Bacarella founded.

>chase drivers are the top 16 drivers

>SVG is in 16th with 1 point between him and 17th and tied with chase briscoe who is in 15th
They just made it 16 to include SVG because the entire reason for SVG was win and you’re in and that’s not the rule anymore lol

>Missed Indy quali cause had stuff to do after the races today
Heck yeah Hauger and Fat John getting those top 10's. Love to see Coyne actually be a little better overall, just cause Indycar could use another team that can scratch wins or podiums.

It's from the system I guess, but it's really more of a statement on how bad Trucks commentary usually is. In that case... then yeah it's absolutely a true statement. The standards are so low that even TBell flies above them

I kinda like Kyle running his old Spire trucks tho. Nobody better at diagnosing what a truck needs than Kyle, and helping his old team is kinda full circle-ish.
>>153696635
Rick kinda has to try and lure him away from Trackhouse for the 48. He's in his prime and would win a lot of races in HMS equipment, but it'd be tricky to poach from a fellow Chevy team, particularly with how they're all in bed together one way or another with how Chevy cross-pollinates the lower series. I'm also not sure Ross wants to leave Trackhouse, even for a better ride. Chip and then Justin believed in him when nobody else ever did. I think he kinda wants to retire there.

This is another opportunity for me to suggest, for the NASCAR bots that monitor these threads, that Joey/Bread would be an elite commentating combo for any of the series, and once both retire they should make serious efforts to see that happen.

For me, it's any of the V8 models up to 1973. And all the V8 models 1979-present. I especially like the early Shelby cars, the Boss 302s and the 351 Windsor cars. I also particularly like the S650 because it finally got independent rear suspension. Of the S650s, I like the GTs and others with the Coyote over the Shelby versions with the Voodoo because I don't really like the sound of the flat plane crank as much. I also think the Coyote is the best American engine in production, but it has some plastic parts I think should be made out of aluminum, particularly the water pump impeller. I also hate the idea of plasma transfer wire arc (PTWA) (spray welded) cylinder liner instead of a cylinder sleeve, which they started in 2018. This makes the 2016 and 2017 S550 the superior vehicle from an ownership/reliability standpoint, especially if you want to wrench on the major mechanical parts.
>>

Why? IndyCar is one of the best series around. I think it's going to have a hard time following that Truck race, but I'm sure it will be good.

Awesome Bill From Dawsonville!
So, is it confirmed that we don't have a way to watch SVRA events any more? I really, really, really, really like the vintage Trans-Am and the other historic races. That original Bugatti race in the rain is locked in as a core memory for me.

SVG's 3 wide pass for the lead and 6th to 1st restart will get all the headlines from yesterday, but his coolest pass was taking the lead from Brent Crews. Massively backed up a corner to get the angles to set up an easy pass like 5 corners later. It was beautiful and clean, and there was nothing Crews could do about it.

Well well well, michelin showed themselves up once again, You'd think for a company that doesn't even bother to make intermediate tyres for the top Motorcycle Racing Series of the World that they would be able to concentrate on making a slick tyre that would be that much better but no, they cant even last a grand prix now without falling apart and turning to mush and nearly killing gp riders.

Yeah i did, I also watched Mir's tyre also fail, I watched at the very end Bez crawling around at a snails pace on the last lap because his back tyre was about to fail aswell, I also saw Raul Fernandez's rear tyre in the paddock at the end and his rear tyre was wrecked in the middle and was also about to fail and that was just the riders who's bikes were on cam, how many other riders about to fail rear tyre didn't get caught on cam?
So a curb is the excuse? You fell for michelin press office damage control, the only way a curb could cause that type damage in the first place is if the tyre is completely melting and is so misshaped that a curb is able to get anywhere near the rim.
michelin are a shit tyre company with a great press office who know how to make npc's forget about how shit and bogey their tyres are.

The first response is definitely correct, but I'll add a little extra nuance:
There are two mains sects of Islam, Sunni and Shia. The details of the faith discrepancy are irrelevant, what matters is they still go at it like Protestants and Catholics did in the decades after the Reformation. Iran is majority Shia, Saudi Arabia (and most Arab states outside of Iraq) are majority Sunni.
Additionally, much like Europe in the decades after the Reformation, there are political struggles which wrap themselves in the religious struggle to help draw allies or identify enemies. Saudi Arabia and Iran have been, at least since we toppled Saddam, vying for control of the larger Arab world. They both want to be the preeminent regional power.
TL:DR, any action taken against Iran is at least indirectly to the Saudis benefit, and for political and religious reasons the Iranians really don't like that.

We're all in agreement that the 23xi cars are cheated out the ass, right? Everyone was talking about them at Daytona and Atlanta how they could just pull away from everyone on the straights. No, they're really not. MJ and Dennis just took them to court in the offseason and aired a ton of their dirty laundry. Even got some resignation scalps out of it. But R&D tear downs take time, especially in the early season West coast swing. They're gonna find where they're cheating, it'll just take a few weeks. NASCAR will put every piece under a microscope if needed because they'd love to drop the hammer on Dennis and Jordan.

i think thats why it seems like obvious horsepower but thats why I think its the gearbox that is letting everything else open up. If theyre going to cheat openly why get caught? They wouldve been caught if it was simple +horsepower.
>theres clearly more power
Wouldnt Hendrick and Penske go all out to match it if they thought it were a simple horsepower cheat? The reverse burnout sealed it for me. Youre only doing that to mask something. Tech hasnt found anything and maybe wont. Cheating is alive thats good for this shit car

NOS, literally Nitrous Oxide but in enough quantities to be near hard to detect post inspection.
And seems to be a direct injection, And i wouldn't be surprised if this is being delivered through ECU and hidden through the chassis tubes, so no one at post inspection detects it because it is delivered through ECU.
This is Briatore levels of cheating

>>
>>153712886
if it was that, the lasers would detect.
NOS can't be detected unless they chemically bath the car to detect the particles or notices that the engine got NOS Stress
I wouldn't be surprised if they are using the ECU to deliver so nascar never detects, since they obviously NEVER inspect ECU software and logs post race.

I don't think it's anything so complex, officials are simply not enforcing the rules for the sake of storylines (see also Petty in 84, DEI in 01).
Myatt Snider didn't even have a Cup license yesterday and they granted him one on the spot because they felt like it.
Officials can do whatever they want.

It was the third week in a row where he was just absolutely gapping the field at the end out of nowhere. Maybe they are just saving the car for the end, but it looks like they hit the +50 hp button on the final laps of the race.
>>
>>
>>
>>153713274
the thing is, it isn't SVG, is the fact for the third time, the 45 behaved strange at the last leg of the damn race as if it had won more horsepower out of nowhere.
If the same shit happens again at phoenix, something is iffy, and NASCAR knows it.

>How does a computer provide a compressed gas to the intake of an engine?
how does a sensor control the air:fuel? you realize these are machines right?
>Reddick uses a button/push to pass
that is noticeable via metrics, and in car footage. Will get caught
>solution to not getting caught? never performing the act.
fit the system in the vehicle, and have the ECU to dump juice from the system into the mix within an "acceptable" range. Since the switch is happening in the computer, as a "natural" motion, nothing can/will be found unless they strip the car down to find the feeding system. That is building on the NOS theory.
>>153713248
Cheating is a sign of a healthy competitive sport. Teams are working to get something versus taking what is given. Cheating is growth and these other teams should be looking to do something to match it. Chevys are pretty fast they have something cooking

NASCAR has never pretended to be anything other than the France Family's personal hobby, like McMahon and the WWE. all the rules are there mostly to give a sense of consistency, the Frances can and will change them on the spot as they see fit and have done so since the very beginning.

>>153713151
I can't remember where I heard it, I want to say it was Hindy interviewing Doonan, but it's been several months. Anyway, they basically didn't want to force the teams to expand their budgets and they felt that Road America was a better market for an endurance race than Indianapolis. I'm honestly not even that made.

>how does a sensor control the air:fuel?
A sensor changing the engin map is not the same thing as adding additional oxygen to the mixture.
>Cheating is a sign of a healthy competitive sport.
It just isn't like that anymore. The manufacturers and sponsors are extremely adverse to anything that could be seen as unsportsman like. Acura shut down Myer Shanks for a whole year for it.

It's not that he won, it's that he pulled everyone on the front straight like you will only see a Ducati doing to a Yamaha when MotoGP gets there. He was fucking unpassable, legitimately I've never seen that kind of straight line speed disparity between top teams in a Cup race outside of when teams figured out how to circumvent restrictor plates decades ago. Combine that with last week when he won pretty easily with a car more torn to shit than anything Dale Jr ever did when DEI had that plate track advantage.
>>
>>
You know considering how mediocre Fred Bag is in a world where all the Ducati riders have similar equipment, Martin might also be the 3rd or 4th best Aprilia rider too. They kind of need Acosta to beat Marquez just to give the championship any credibility once Marc retires because Quarterpounder is the only other guy who might have deserved a championship and he's invisible at this point anyways.

I think they had a come to Jesus moment with the drivers after that one about driving standards and things have been better since.
What they really need to do is just have two classes, GT and Prototype like WEC did.
The reason the yellows are so long in IMSA is that they are reorganizing the classes.

Should just be everyone between the pace car and their class leader can wave by at one to go then fuck off, everything else is retarded.
