>>1399809 2) mirror the other person. by far the easiest way to get someone to like you. it may feel manipulative but it really isn't, it's just a natural way to connect to someone else. just pick up on their little idiosyncrasies or things they say, incorporate a couple into what you say, and it'll feel a lot easier to create moments of bonding. for example, i used to know a girl who would separate the dots in her ellipses (. . . instead of ...) as a quirky cute way of doing it or whatever. so when i would talk to her i would do that too, she liked it a lot when i did it and we'd always put it in messages as a sort of inside joke. it can be something as small as that. it can also be more about a slight personality shift, maybe acting meaner if it feels like she likes a back and forth, push and pull type of rapport, maybe acting brattier, maybe whatever. now where you can go wrong with this is changing TOO much. my previous advice of "being yourself, having the confidence to act and speak like yourself always" will always take priority. you want the mirroring to be more like a lightly flavored version of your true self, you don't want to actually become the other person. do NOT be like pic related lol. girls do this literally all the time. picking up habits or interests or quirks or whatever from the guy they like, because they want him to notice her and feel more connected to her. they do it because it works, and it works well. it doesn't only work in a romantic context either. it can be used to make friends, in a professional setting, anything. but obviously the focus here is for girls. stay true to yourself and don't go too far/be too creepy with it and you'll be good
